This book puts advice for middle school into a fun way of reading it I definitely recommend reading this book

I wish I'd had this book when I was entering middle school... or high school, or college, or my 20s and 30s. There are a lot of valuable life lessons crammed into this little volume, and you can call me a slow learner, but I didn't figure most of this stuff out until I was well into adulthood. Even though it's filled with excellent advice, it's also got humor, relatable anecdotes, and interesting exercises, so it doesn't come off as dry or preachy. I bought the Kindle version to read for myself, then a paperback for my kids, and finally a hardcover to donate to their school. This book should be required reading for tweens everywhere (and their teachers and parents!), and it would make an excellent gift, too!

This has good information, but you need a strong and motivated reader to get through it. Most students at an age to use this information are not ready to read chapters in a self-help book. Most others like this have more graphics and vignettes. Would be a good book for a parent and child to use together, or for an anxious and high-achieving child to use independently.

Wow I am full of Confidence When I had finished the book Since I'm going to middle school It was an assigned book that I had To read But overall, it was just the most motivational and confidential thing that I've ever read. That inspires me to become the best middle school student I've ever been and tells me that I will rock this year just like my mom says.

I’m so glad I found this when I saw my daughter’s being anxious about middle school. This book is so amazing, fun and right on point, eases her anxiety and teaches her how to be herself and be happy :) I also benefited from it, not really learning anything new but really learning it! Lol I’m so glad I found this for my middle schooler and I highly recommend it!

Difficult to follow but once my son got into it he enjoyed it.

My daughter needed a second book to read for a school reading requirement. She chose this book not realizing it was a self help book. She thoroughly enjoyed it and related it to much of her life. I'm glad she stumbled upon it.

My 11 year old loved the book. He said it was funny and had great stories.

I bought this for my daughter, and she is not interested in reading it.
