Just like everyone else, I applied it the wrong way to begin with but later when I followed the right procedure, I was amazed with the results. Here's my experience: 1st attempt: Applied only indigo powder - Result: grey hair turned pink which hardly lasted 2-3 days 2nd attempt: I read some reviews; mixed both henna and indigo powder together and applied. Result: grey hair turned light red, almost the same color as applying henna. By now I'm very much disappointed that nothing natural can turn my hair black/dark brown and I have to go with chemicals and dyes. 3rd attempt: I went back to the reviews again, this time very slowly, trying to find out how some people were extremely happy about the results of the product. Then I saw one reviewer giving a three day procedure to apply. Day 1: Henna only - wash without shampoo (soak henna with warm water for 90 min; apply and keep it for 90 min. I tried sameera henna) Day 2: Indigo only - wash without shampoo and apply oil after hair dries. (soak indigo with warm water for 15 min; apply and keep for 90 min) Day 3: wash with shampoo I just couldn't believe my eyes and was extremely happy that the natural product worked on my hair. Although this method takes a little longer, I don't mind taking the pains for something natural and chemical-free. I think the customers who did not like the product may not have tried the above procedure. Unfortunately, even the instructions inside the product do not mention it clearly. I absolutely love it and I'm enjoying the dark brown/black color with some shine for about 3-4 weeks :) However, I gave it 4 stars because I think the product is a bit expensive.

There are on the net, people who caused me a lot of unnecessary hassle, wastage of money and precious time by advocating there useless formulas. Their concoctions can at the most leave your hair with a very light, one wash and gone, brown tinge or just do nothing. Most of their potions are either second hand ideas or are just plain fantasy. One man even went to the extent of putting his son’s picture to showcase his expertise in this matter, just keep away from him. Hennaveda Indigo arrived at the right time when I had discarded all hopes of finding a chemical free hair dye. Turns out, this product dyes hair far better than the useless ones. It may not dye your white hair black like the chemical dyes but comes very close. Two coats within a week gives a darker and more permanent hue. Look no further, get Hennaveda, 1) It is not only chemical free and natural it is also, 2) Effective and hassle free, no overnight soaking, 3) No heating and mixing godforsaken ingredients 4) Does not leave hair dry and spiky even after a wash with plain water. 5) No hair fall etc. 6) Marvelous, it does not stain skin like what the chemical dyes do. 7) Priceless at a very low price. Tried this with the below procedure it added a very slight darkness but not 100 % as I was able to still locate some of the brown hairs 1. Previous day applied henna and turned my hair brownish. 2. Mixed Indigo powder with warm water and a spoon of table salt 2. Kept it covered with a plastic bag for 20 minutes. 3. Applied on the hair wherever it was brownish 4. Kept my hair covered with a plastic bag for 2 hours. 5. There were some darkish shade on my hairs but still I am able to locate my brownish hairs. I doubt if my hairs really turned black. 6. I slightly felt some ithciness around my ears but not sure if it wa my feeling...Need to check that out when U try it out again. Anyways I am going to trying it out again

I have been buying this product for the last 2-3 years and it realy works if the paste is prepared in right way. On my hair , it lasts for 2 to 2.5 months. Add curd in indigo powder and make paste with luke warm water. Make pate in glass bowl.Close the container with a lid and keep aside for 20 minutes. Apply paste and cover head with shower cap and keep it for 2 hours. It gives black color on hair for pre applied henna on hair which we should apply 1 day prior.

Very disappointing product. After using it, I experienced a severe headache that lasted the entire day, along with intense itching on my scalp. It seems like there may be some harmful chemicals in it. Although the initial colour result was just average, it faded quickly after washing. I’ve been using this brand for the past two years, but these issues have only started recently. At first, I thought it was just me, but after reading other reviews, it’s clear that many people are facing similar problems.

Got the black colour to my hair which I needed. Thank-you But smell it's horrible

The package is delivered 1 week late and it is so crushed I couldn’t use the container given. The retailer should avoid using Aramex for all their future delivery. I have same experience with their old delivery too. Other wise the product is good

Me encantó el producto porque mi cabello junto con la henna me dio un tono chocolate, porque la henna por si sola lo deja naranja y con este el tono se empareja bonito, la IA me ayudo con los procesos, pidan que les de la opción de ambos henna e indigo y les explica como, es la 1a vez que me lo pinto solo y quedo bien, este producto trae además una brochita para aplicar, guantes y gorrita ah y un tipo enjuague en polvo que use 2 dias después para que este producto agarrara bien .

The indigo gives a good color plus it comes with gloves . The only negative about this product to me is it needs to be sifted to get the powder fine unlike other products that are already sifted . You can use it as is but i think it makes mixing it easier if you sift it first. Overall i still think it's a good value.
