Transcend MP330 8GB USB MP3 Player with FM Radio and Direct Line-in Recorder

A review after 2 years of useSo as a school kid without a phone this was amazing and does a great job. It has good functions too,and whatever they advertised lived upto its name,except I line recording which would create some seriously high bass when recording ... but who even does that :pSo the features,excellent sound quality which is easy to use. It takes only an hour to get used to the controls. It lets you create Playlist which is great(no calm songs during a jog now). It gives you some other features as well like shuffle,shuffle in folder,repeat song,repeat from point a to b user defined e.t.c but my favorites were eq modes. They let you change the songs frequency depending on the song like rock,pop,jazz e.t.c. USB song addition is quite easy too.The radio is good too. It searches the right stations for you.In settings you can change brightness, and add a Screensaver ! It is a clock whose time is entered by you.Build quality is excellent(it survived a rough teenager and that is amazing)the buttons might give a wobble but it is feebleThe key lock button is good too. Helps if you are in a busy metro and you have this in your pocket so even if someone bumps in you the sing won't change.Storage wise 8 gb is actually quite a lot.have stored a lot in this boy.The sports clip provided is not a necessity but it works well. Who is it for ? People who have headphones with a small cable,pin the mp3 player on your shirt and now the distance is shortened.The stock earphones were bad,no shit here.they were good while they lasted.a pro is that it won't slip of your ears but the con is that the wire is so weak that it will stop sending audio to one of the earphones , which sucks. I won't cut points of for this because honestly,who even uses the stock earphones with commitment(i used it when my other earphones were yet to be delivered)Overall a great device and no it is not overpriced.Pros-Good functions,good audio,good anesthetics,good portability .Cons-crappy stock earphones,takes time getting used to controlez(nothing mentioned in manual)I am happy with this product and so is my wallet :D

- excellent product- very compact- works perfectly- Display works well- the sound output is good ( you can use it with the earphones that come with the pack or use your own- Easy to use- very handy to carry- can be plugged into a TV or any digital music system as well (in case you want to listen to music on a bigger system- You can also plug the sound output into a speaker ( i use a Nokia coloud speaker with it - and it works beautifully)- total value for money- its important to have an MP3 with a display- Its size and weight is its usp - only 25 grams- can you beat it?- 15.6 x 4.4 x 10.6 cm- the recording function works perfectly- the fm- not so well- but that's also dependent on where you are- very good battery life- it is able to give at least 5 hours of continuous play - haven't checked it more than that- has a small clip- which can be useful if you are using it while jogging- very good packaging- timely delivery

I bought this for playing music .... Quality is good but battery backup is low... Music quality is good.

We bought this MP3 player so we can also record from line input my son singing.We use a condenser micro phone with an Amp (for Phantom power and amplification) and connectthe line out to this MP3 player. Alternatively we also use other battery powered portable AMP plugs.Records pretty well. The recorded audio is not MP3, but the audio quality is good. The other functionsare working well as specified, like the MP3 player has good quality, FM does receive well. Have nottried FM recording, but believe it should work well. A good buy as it is so tiny and is so well portablewho is into music listening, learning or recording.

Low battery; not easy to use. Start-up takes time. To continue with earlier audio, on re-start, 4-5 steps have to be taken. Folders shown have a "/" as top folder - for what??? Not worth the money. Sony MP3 player any day better.

Product is good but the delivered piece was faulty. Fm was not working and equalizer setting was changing itself. So I returned it.

Been using it to record interviews for a writing project, and it's really effective. Battery life is good too, and you can plug in your own mic if you want too. The design is small and portable. The only issue is that the menus are very hard to make sense of, and the built in Mic is clear, but not loud, so you need to get close to your interview subject, which some people aren't always comfortable with. The Sony recorder I had earlier was more sensitive, but less clear. But that is 4x costlier so I'm pretty happy with this one.

I got this MP3 player before 20 days, The battery is awesome. Didnt charge it for more than 5 days even after listening songs for more than 3 hours a day!!! . Really an awesome product at this price range. The default Headset is not that much effect but we can enjoy the music and for Using Helmet fits perfectly without bending. Really an awesome player. I am very happy getting this. This device meets my expection. Really a very good product. Only word AWESOME for bike riding.
