I love feeding our neighborhood birds. This bird feeder is such great quality, nice heavy duty metal. The big plus for me is the solar light. It is a win win. The birds get the food during the day, at night we get the benefit of having a nice golden glow from the light in the feeder. It looks really pretty and I just love it. Such a great idea. This would make a great gift for anyone that likes having feeders in their yard - it is unique because you never see them with lights as well. This feeder works well, easy to fill. Just hang somewhere where the sun can charge your light and your all set. Very happy with this purchase!!

This is a very nice and stylized bird feeder. I like the option of dividing the food between the larger mesh side to include mealworms and larger seeds; I put smaller seeds on the other side. The light is not overly bright, but it is still visible during the nighttime hours.

I seem to have gotten obsessed with feeding birds last year and it has become even more of an obsession this year. I feed regular birds and hummingbirds. I now have 4 regular bird feeders on one pole, yes 4. I got this one since the one I was using for sunflower seeds the plastic tubing is getting very fragile and won’t last long so I wanted a new one. This one looked good, and since it’s metal should hold up better.it has a little solar light, which is ok, throws a dim glow at night, but was not my deciding factor in choosing this feeder. I wanted one that the birds could pick the seeds out of the grates. They can. This feeder holds 2 kinds of seed, it has a divider in the middle so holds regular bird seed and sunflower seeds so give the birds a choice. It even has little water cups for them to drink out of, although I’ve yet to see a bird use the,. It is easy to fill and the birds seemed to like it after a few days. The reason for 4 stars not 5 is that the bottom part where the birds can get to the seed is smaller than I’d like and I wish it had a few perches for the to sit on to pick the seeds out of the mesh higher up, they don’t seem to use this feeder as much as my others which are easer for them to use. Other than that it is good. It is well made, squirrels have eaten from it but haven’t gotten the top off, a plus. I like the look of it. I can recommend it.
