packaged well and it mounted with no hassle with supplied wrenches. Its very light and has all the bipod features you want, Pan, Cant, and of course Height adjustment. it pivots forward and back which is a feature I like when loading the bipod but may not be for super accurate long range shooting. I use it on my 22lr build. this thing is built tough and and again its light! very pleased with this product and would recommend it to others. Just purchased a second one for my AR SPR cuz its so light weight, I like the the waythe tension handle locks the bipod down once I get it in the position I want. and this Bipod looks pleasing to the eye on any build because its so streamlined compared to my Harris bipods. I was thinking of upgrading my Harris bipods but this bipod is cheaper than the upgrades would cost. Very satisfied.

Got the bipod set up and out to my shooting bench yesterday afternoon. Mounted to my MLOK handguard without any drama. Legs stick just a little bit, but I have a feeling they'll loosen up over time. Feel very lightweight on the rifle, and held up just fine to the harsh (yes, that's sarcasm) recoil of 5.56. I don't have a Magpul bipod to compare it too, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one of these.

The bipod works very well for 22lr or 223/556 rifles but not so much for 308+. The bipod doesn't ever become secure enough to avoid losing your setting in a 308. There is just too much movement for larger calibers. This bipod has worked amazing on my Ruger precision rimfire and my AR-15 in 223/556. To make small adjustments you simply move the lever slightly off right/tight and you can make fine adjustments without it being a "wet noodle" as another user mentioned. For smaller calibers it is great and easy to make adjustments if you use some sense when actuating the tension lever. Overall very happy with it for the price and applications I mentioned. If considering it for a 308 I'd look elsewhere. It handles 308 better than the Magpul bipod but still too much movement for my taste. The big advantage of this bipod is how light weight it is. Many bipods can cause a rifle to be too front heavy if shooting on the move, this one is light enough I don't notice it at all when not in use.

Some complain that it can get too loose and that is true. However if you really tighten and lock-tight the under hex screw then that will fix the too loose slop and that is all you have to do. It will still adjust when loosening the lever and will tighten back up with the same lever pulled the opposite way. Only wish the bipod had mark on the legs to quickly adjust to even height. But not that big of deal. You can easily add your own marks with a permanent marker. The weight savings outweighs any of the negatives of this bipod which are few. Awesome. Love it.

I ordered this to mount on a spr, wanted to keep the weight to a minimum. This bipod is lightweight, 6-9 inches is plenty for my intended purpose. Seems to be good quality for the price point. However once I mounted this bipod on my rail, I realized it moves freely when locked into position making noise and potentially making contact with the barrel / handguard. Loading the bipod is awkward and I am not sure if it will stand the test of time with the pressure from being loaded and the recoil of the rifle. This might work for some people on their hunting rifle, but for me it's only good for a range rifle. If it did not move when stored and wasn't so awkward to load I would love this bipod. How it is now though, unfortunately I wasted my money as I am going to have to purchase another bipod for my rifle.

This is a great bipod for my Magpul stock with Mlok attachment points . I easily installed the Caldwell bipod, it was a rock solid mount, easy to manipulate with the lever, and did not snag on clothing when carried. Unfortunately, there is a little play in the hinge area,even after tightening it down. This is a no go for my intended purpose, so returned it. If you need a good bipod for all purpose use, then this is a good option.

Functionality is good, sturdness is fair, the stand is sturdy the ability to tighten down solid is not great. Leg extend and tighten fine, it is the ball turret that may not be able to lock down.

Very solid. I really like being able to tilt from side to side so I can level my scope.
