Vitamin D-3 is cholecalciferol, the preferred form for proper absorption. The dose is fairly substantial, which is good because most people are deficient in Vitamin D. Of course, it's a good idea to occasionally have your blood tested for Vitamin D, 25-Hydroxy levels, to make sure it's in the ideal range.
