I absolutely love the Tokyo Vivalto Lungo capsules! As a medium roast, it strikes an elegant balance between smooth floral notes, mild fruitiness, and toasted cereal tones. The aroma is inviting, and the crema is thick and velvety. I usually brew it as a proper Lungo (~110 ml), though pulling it slightly shorter (about 75%) intensifies the flavor beautifully. It’s impeccably balanced, never too bitter or acidic. Plus, the B Corp-certified sourcing and recyclable aluminum pods make it a responsible choice. Ideal for anyone who enjoys a refined, mellow coffee in a long format.

Value: 8/10 These are not the cheapest of coffee pods, or even Nespresso-compatible capsules, but for fifty of them, they're not priced terribly whatsoever Taste: 10/10 This coffee has a wonderful flavor, I'm certainly not a coffee sommelier or anything of the sort. However, I cannot recommend this enough! The flavor is soft and nuanced, it's not super overpowering like a lot of other coffees you can put through a Nespresso machine. State Upon Arrival: Many reviews will mention that some capsules are dented upon arrival, and that was also the case for me. My capsules were well within the expiration date, and of course I have no doubt that their freshness is well-preserved inside of the aluminum capsule. Having said that, the dents present on some capsules has not rendered them incompatible or unusable by my personal machine (the L'Or Barista System). I have not noticed any broken capsules or off-putting flavors from any manner of contamination. All capsules were in sealed boxes with the proper Nespresso branding. Generally speaking, I wouldn't really worry about it. TL;DR - I love these. They are the only espresso capsules I currently have any intention of buying repeatedly, and there's not a lot to worry about as long as you can stomach the somewhat high price tag for coffee!

Ordered these Nespresso Original pods October 27, 2025 with overnight delivery. Appreciate the convenience to receive them promptly & satisfied with expiration date of July 31st, 2026.

This is my favorite Nespresso capsule. The flavor is deliciously balanced and the aroma is absolutely lovely. So why only 4 stars? Because I love buying the capsules on Amazon for the ease and the reliability, but I can not get Nespresso’s recycling bags from Amazon. The package of 5 ten-count sleeves that Amazon sells should include one of Nespresso’s recycling bags. Or some other access to Nespresso’s recycling program. This product produces a lot of waste if not properly recycled, so access to recycling should be included. Please Amazon can you participate in the recycling of the used capsules?
