FYI: For Your Improvement - Competencies Development Guide, 6th Edition

After following people for some time, researches identified areas of competency that successful people developed - and career blockers that eventually limited people. Best part - they give you ideas on how to develop these competencies. Wonderful tool if you are in charge of your career. Also helpful if you manage others. You can help people with their development plans via this book. Pricey - but worth it in my experience. I purchased one for every leader in our company - so they can grow personally and help others to do the same.

Each chapter is meticulously organized, providing valuable descriptions of varying levels of competency usage. Additionally, the book offers insightful recommendations for developing these competencies through learning and engaging in practical assignments.

This is a great tool to help write goals and develop your team.

Short on words while preparing performance reviews or pinpointing zreas of excellence or development? This is the best publication I've found. Developmental experiences are listed for consideration. Overuse of a particular strengths are also discussed as well.

While this book no longer seems to be published, and it is a bit expensive, it is totally worth it. I use this when helping my managers complete performance reviews and development plans. It is an amazing resource. It would be helpful if there was a one-stop resource like this online but the book is full of useful information.
