If you’re looking to DIY your own embossing wedding invitations or any invitations this is the machine to buy. It is easy to put together and the quality is very good. It comes with everything you need to start embossing or die cutting. The acrylic plates are heavy weight and not flimsy so your embossing comes out perfect every time. I love the fact that the opening area is larger than most so that if you’re embossing only the corners like I did then your cards will fit right in. There are different thickness plates so you do have to see which ones will make it through the crank and pass through. So if you’re looking to save some money and making your own invitations this is a great purchase. It adds elegance and luxury. It really makes your invitations look expensive.

Five stars for a $60 paper craft die cutting / embossing machine? Yes!!!! I own / use two other die cutting / embossing machines (Find Scrapblooms 9" and the Sizzix Big Shot) and this smaller, less expensive machine is the one I have been using the most. It just works so well! I have had some issues with the Big Shot not cutting cleanly and I had to come up with my own stack of plates to do some embossing folders. No such issues with either Find machines. The 6-inch is very small and light, perfect for crafters working in small places or travelling to a location other than home. I was surprised that the machine came with two magnetic pads, not a feature of its larger brother. Yes the acrylic plates warp a bit but I found turning them over solves any warping issue. I definitely recommend this machine, and not just for the price but for its performance.

I had been toying with getting this for awhile. I bought the 9" and am very happy with it. I can send 2 embossing folders through at the she time. I can also, do many die cuts at once. Spend the extra, its worth it! One run through cutting and embossing. Super easy to use. Love it! I searched the internet for all kinds of hints and tricks to help me. I'm glad I did! I have a problem with wear and tear on the things I own so I search for ways to delay it. One tip I found to avoid a marked up plate was to use a cutting mat (the dollar tree mats are too soft and don't work) to stop the etching in the plates when die cutting. But the cutting mats are too thick to use all the plates provided. So through some experimenting I found what works for me. I layer my plates like this... All this will depend on the thickness of your cutting mat. 1. 13mm plate 2. 2mm plate (I think switched #'s 2 and 3 in the video 😉. It works either way) 3. $Tree chopping mat, cut to match the other plate sizes 4. Self healing cutting mat 5. Paper 6. Cutting die 7. $ Tree chopping mat, cut to match size of plates 8. 3mm plate. I don't use the second 3mm plate. For embossing I layer my plates the same as cutting dies but I don't use the self healing cutting mat. 13mm, 2mm, chopping mat, Embossing folder, chopping mat, 3mm. Again, I don't use the second 3mm plate. You won't regret this purchase.

This is my very first crank machine I must say that I am very pleased with the quality and the performance of this machine for the price a definite keeper.

After figuring out with the help from a friend there was two b plates I needed to take them apart and only put one on the sandwich and to my surprise a nice cut and it was amazing to me and my granddaughter. So happy that was solved amen

I was so excited for this machine yet a little scared at the same time just due to the expense. I am a crafter & watercolor artist but thought I would expand my horizons with this product. Got the machine out of the box, it was neatly packaged & protected by styrofoam but was taken by how extremely heavy it was yet makes sense considering what it’s supposed to do. I used regular card stock paper nothing fancy or costly. Step by step, as I was using the machine per the manufacturer instructions, I heard an awful cracking noise & literally thought that the clear plastic was shattering! Once it was done, I was very disappointed to see that the plastic shield had indentions from the die that came with it! Omg!!!! I thought that I had done something wrong so I reread the instructions and watched the video tutorial several more times to ensure that I was using it properly and was confident that I used it correctly. So, I put another die in & repeated the same steps & yep, same sound & same indentions on the plastic. I don’t like to give negative feedback but as you can clearly see by the pictures, it doesn’t work as well as it should for the cost ($100). Maybe use a thicker type of paper but not exactly sure about that. I may go ahead & invest in a Cricket after all.

First time using for embossing and disease t I use, but I think the smaller unit would have worked as well

Was looking for a small embossing tool to use for smaller projects and this worked pretty good. Took awhile to figure out the perfect sandwich for folders vs dies but she works.

It's a lovely did cut machine but because of arthritis I struggle to turn the handle so unable to use it..I should have bought an electric one !!
