Crosley Furniture School House Wood Slat Back Counter Height Bar Stools Set of 2, Black, 24-inch

These chairs came as a set of two. Put first one together fine. Half way into assembling second chair, realized holes were in the wrong place. Called Manufacturer per instructions delivered with chairs. They were polite and shipped a supposedly correct piece right away. Received second piece, had chair nearly assembled and discovered the second piece was the wrong size for the chair I ordered (24" vs 30"). Wasted a lot of time and energy attempting to assemble these chairs and now, again have to take one apart and wait for third time for them to send the correct piece needed to complete chair assembly. I am so fed up with these chairs I will give or throw them away and feel I have been ripped off for the $200+ cost as I have put more of my valuable time into fixing their errors than the chairs are worth! Manufacturer advised my only option was to return them (impossible due to packaging) or wait for them to send the correct part and for the THIRD time attempt to reassemble the chair.

I purchased this set of two 24" bar stools on Sept. 17th. I received the box and began assembly about 10 days later. Unfortunately, one of the stool backs had been improperly manufactured, so I was only able to assemble one stool. I wrote Crosley and was promised a replacement. A week later I received the wrong replacement part. I wrote again and was promised the correct item would be shipped right away. A week later I received another package - again with the wrong replacement part. I wrote again. This time I was promised they would ship an entire replacement stool. They sent the wrong stool. I wrote again. Finally, in December, I received the correct stool back along with yet another seat and set of legs. My garage now contains 3 stool seats, 3 sets of legs, 2 stool backs (for the wrong stools) and enough cardboard and styrofoam to choke my local recycling center. I have spent many hours dealing with this and have many more to go. Don't buy Crosley products - not worth it.

I ordered one set of these in order to match them with our table. Before ordering two more sets (needed by Xmas) I sat down yo put the first two chairs together.Both chairs' rear legs on the back support, were milled 1/2 inch too short (23.5" from the seat instead of the 24" front legs) preventing side supports from fitting properly and, of course preventing assembly.Crosley furniture's customer support is absolute garbage.They have ZERO phone support "due to the pandemic' and have, as of yet (3 weeks now) , failed to respond to 4 separate emails.Hard to recommend a product or a company, failing on so many levels.

There are few things I appreciate more in a furniture product than when it is made well and comes with top-quality hardware.I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality control on these chairs. The finish is very even and smooth, and every single piece lined up and went together perfectly!Extremely happy with my decision to buy these chairs.

These are handsome, sturdy stools with a comfortable back support. The directions, (which were NOT included in the box and had to be printed from the manufacturers website), could use clarification especially when deciding which front legs go where (whose left? whose right?) and getting the side spreaders on in the correct orientation. I did like that the hardware comes in a packet with individual labelled pockets which is a very smart move, but it is hard to get the hardware out of the narrow pockets. I had to reverse the legs on the first chair which was annoying, but not the end of the world and struggled with one leg where one hole was either too tight or misaligned. Other than that, I put both together in under 2 hours. I will definitely put protectors on the bottom of the legs to protect my floor.

I loved this barstool, it looked very nice put together but I ordered the 30 inch and it was way too tall. I originally purchased 4 and we only put one together. The first one we opened, it was missing one part and had two of another. I opened the second box and put the chair together. It is a beautiful and comfortable chair but it was too tall. Because of the missing part and the height, I returned all 4 chairs. Amazon is amazing to work with for returns. They picked up the chairs from my house and I was not charged to ship them back. They do sell this chair in a 24 inch but I had already found something else that worked better.

I ordered 2 sets of the 30 in. chairs because we a have very high bar area, and these are perfect!! I love that they’re just plain wooden chairs that don’t swivel (because kids and swivel chairs don’t mix well). There were absolutely no defects in the chairs, and my husband was able to assemble them quickly and easily. They are comfortable to sit in, heavy/sturdy, and seem to be well-made. I also thought the price was great. At other furniture websites you only get one chair for this same price. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.

I bought a set of two stools - the first assembled easily with no issues, and provided a sturdy and comfortable seat at my bar-height countertop. The second one had an issue - the screws the secure the seat to the frame (this part was pre-assembled) were not drilled deeply enough and some of the screws fell out in transit. If I had been able to find all of the screws after opening, I would have simply re-drilled the holes and reinserted the screws - however, one screw was missing, so I contacted the company and they sent me a whole new piece (stool seat and frame). Annoying to have an issue, but glad it was fairly easily fixed and I do love these bar stools.

Love mine ... just wish I could buy a single as I would like 3.
