Great idea for a gift
I recently tried a kintsugi kit and was thoroughly impressed. The kit included high-quality epoxy resin, gold powder, brushes, and clear instructions. It was user-friendly, making the repair process smooth and enjoyable. The end result was stunning, with the gold lines beautifully highlighting the repaired fractures, turning broken pottery into unique art pieces. This kit offers great value for money and is perfect for both beginners and experienced crafters. Highly recommended for anyone interested in this traditional Japanese art of embracing imperfections.

Didn't care for it.
First of all I didn't like being email be the manufacturer upon purchasing. How's that's even possible, I don't know. The two part clear epoxy worked great. You can pick that up at Lowe's or Home Depot, like the JB Weld brand. I hated the color of the gold and ended up scraping it all off and went golden flying acrylics iridescent gold (fine) found at Michaels for 11 bucks. There was one for 2.50 but it didn't look as nice. I also used Durham's rock hard water putty for 4 bucks also at Home Depot for filler. I put together spaceship models for fun so I have a lot of tools. What I found useful was the Dremel and a soft brush for sanding. I was amazed how durable ceramic is. Also exacto blade #17. The paint brushes were also crap. I used Tamiya modeling brush pro II and magnifying glasses with a light.

Your broken ceramics will look like the pictures when you're done.
Works as advertised. Follow the instructions and you'll be fine.

Says guarantee - no way to ask
Seller - or manufacturer - says there is a guarantee if I'm not satisfied with the product. I'm not and would like a refund, but there is no way to contact the manufacturer. I used this to repair a crack in a porcelain saucer. I had this waiting for a break or crack. The directions are a bit vague, but can befollowed - but it'shard.

Might look pretty, but it doesn’t stick.
That’s it. The title of my review says it all. I’ve attempted to repair 2 different mugs with the same result. It claims to cure within 24 hours, but when I picked up the items 2 days later, they fell apart and the glue wasn’t even dry. Don’t waste your time.

Fun for beginner/kintsugi project
Read and follow the directions to ensure even mixture. Sounds simple but you can't wing this. My bowl looks beautiful! I used an antique stonewear bowl (very heavy bowl) so took several applications to fill the cracks but well worth the effort. Very glad I used this brand.

Listed drying and curing times are inaccurate
The instructions that come with the product are vague and incorrect. The only instructions available are the ones that are on the box itself, and the drying times are not accurate. The product claims to cure in 24 hours but this is also not true in my experience. I have a lot of crafting experience and this was not a particular easy product to work with. I don’t think it’s very good quality and I would not recommend.

The instructions provided are not detailed enough and also incorrect. They say that a gold pigment powder is provided but it's actually a liquid. They do not advise the correct ratio of epoxy to powder/liquid and it was very difficult to get the mixture to actually appear gold. The closest I got was a shiny flesh tone. I left my piece to dry for over 24hrs and it immediately came apart again when I picked it up.
