Cooking brings these to life
These need to be cooked to enjoy a satisfying snack texture crunch and it only takes a few minutes. I put some savory seasonings in a bowl, added a good handful of these, drizzled in a bit of oil and mixed to coat well. Poured them into a heated pan that had a touch of oil and gently occasionally stirred them until they developed a bit of brownness. This gave them a crispness a bit like a denser version of baked cheese puffs and when eaten hot was a merge I can best describe as somewhere between cheese puffs and popcorn, the seasoning and light touch of "frying" made them absolutely delicious.

Lacked flavor or seasoned taste
Seeds are very hard when airfried and don't have a very good taste. I have tried local company in tampa and their recipe had flavor.

Tastes Horrible
I know there are recipes to cook this stuff called "Phool Makhana", a seed or pod of the lotus? Anyway, it comes dried in the pkg so I decided to taste one or two. Absolutely disgusting! It's a taste I cannot even describe. Save your money and buy dried chickpeas instead. This stuff is going in the garbage!

Kinda like popcorn but you have to roast these
I put some in an Airfryer and roasted them for about 4 minutes at 375°. First, I sprayed some olive oil on them and seasoned them with some salt and pepper and other spices. They are so light that I could hear them bouncing around during air frying. It kinda sounded like popcorn popping. I checked on them half way through and shook the pan to mix them up. The same can be said when eating them as they have a similar texture but more crispy crunchy. Unlike popcorn, they have no half popped kernels to worry about. I liked munching on them as a low calorie snack.
