Lift chair trial.
Easy to assembly. Works like it says in description. already had to use it for a fall and it worked great. My daughter operated it. I had a little trouble scooting back on the seat, but once I was there, it brought me right up to the wheelchair. It could use a separate strap or Velcro strap to hold it together while storing.

Lift chair
Lift chair is sturdy. It was hard for me to fold up the chair using the support belt and store the legs. The chair works great in lifting a person from the floor to normal chair height. Only had the chair a week and have avoided calling 911 three times. It has been a good investment as some of the 911 responders charge $250 for a lift and assist.

Excellent product bit have realistic expectations
Very sturdy, excellent engineering. Some points that may help:It is heavy. The wheels only work when the seat is folded and the seat restrained. Using the seat belt as a restraint did not work for me. Order an 18" bungee cord with the chair.Assembly is minimal, but this thing is heavy and it will take time.As soon as you take it out of the box plug in the control battery charger. The seat belt is meant for a 400 lb adult. I could not get it short enough to restrain me or my wife.Sitting on a floor level seat is not natural. An elderly person may be reluctant and uncomfortable at first. You need a plan before using the chair. Where is the best place to place the chair? What will you do once the chair is raised? Does the person in the chair know the plan? Were will you store it for subsequent use? In my opinion it requires 2 people to position, load and operate the chair.

This product is fabulous.
So far we are quite happy with this product. Father-in-law lives with us and he no longer can keep his balance 100% of the time. He took a slow fall to the floor and we can no longer pick him up. Both my husband and I have been injured lifting him in the past. Decided that would no longer be an option or we might permanently damage ourselves. When he was on the floor, my husband got this out and we put the 2 legs on it and my father-in-law scooted himself onto the seat, we put the arms down beside him and fastened the belt then pushed the button. The chair slowly raised him to a position that my husband was easily able to take hold of his hands and get him to standing. Without the chair, we would have needed to call 911 for a lift assist so we are very happy to have it here. The chair is a bit heavy but it does have small rollers. It is much easier to handle than to dead lift someone who can give no assistance at all. Well worth the money to us.

I wouldn't trust it
I purchased this product as a safety device just in case my elderly parent fell in their house so I could assist them up. Upon getting the machine I noticed the box itself said to use a forklift to pick it up, so I knew it was not going to be light. When I got it out of the box I noticed the seat flopped around and didn't lock in any manner. The legs just slot into a peg, and no, they don't lock in at all. Then the seat is higher/thicker then what it says in the description. Finally, the controller has batteries in it, which you have to disconnect the controller and attach it to the charger, and keep it topped off monthly. So this means if the batteries die, you are sunk. With all this, I wasn't going to trust it to lift my parent.

Portability Issue
I'm a retired electronics engineer with a wife that has fallen several times. I have experience on many products, but this is the only lift chair I have experience with. We reviewed several before purchasing this particular one. I have seen many products that were designed/built by multiple engineers with one not being as competent as his peers. Shoddy design would be apparent in that engineer's area of work. That certainly seems to be the case here. This Lift appears to be extremely well built and well designed with one major exception, the floor brackets and wheels. In order to use the wheels, the floor brackets must be removed! And...the brackets do not actually attach to the chair. One pin slips in a hole and a hook near the front hangs on another pin. Both brackets are identical, aside from the fact, one is left, and one is right. The only reason they remain in place is the weight of the lift chair on them. In a moment of stress (someone has fallen) having them marked "left" and "right" will be a great advantage. I also marked the "front". I secured the floor brackets to the chair with one large Ty-Wrap on each bracket. There appears to be a skid plate on the rear of each floor bracket (this is where the wheels should be) so I simply lean the chair back and drag it to where it is needed. I plan to drill four holes for nuts and bolts to attach the floor brackets. I will also add 2 small wheels at the rear.It is my fear that someone not familiar with the fall-apart brackets will not be able to utilize the chair.

Peace of Mind
The AX05 is an excellent product. It operates very smoothly and lifts to a height that allows easy transfer to a wheelchair, etc. It lifted a 260 lb person with ease and confidence. I am very pleased with this device, and it gives me great peace of mind for my wife's issues.

A blessing to have when your loved one has fallen.
I’m 76 years old and my husband is 79, weighing 240 pounds. It is impossible for me to get him up when he has fallen. Help is not always available to help get him up. When I saw this floor lift, I thought if it works that would be a blessing. Well it is worth every penny! My husband fell and in no time he was up. Thank you for this amazing product. God is good!
