Works for me...good coffee! Update....grinder gets clogged super fast!
I've only had this product for a couple of months but it seems to do the job. I use this grinder to make everyday, drip coffee, nothing special. There are only few things that are bothersome. I would have liked the grinder to hold more beans so I could grind the whole bag of beans at once so I don't have to grind beans almost every night for the 10 cups of morning coffee. At this time, I shuffle beans and ground beans between bag and container until enough is ground. The other thing is the grinder timer, not sure the purpose of it when they could have simply built a button you push to start grinding and you push it again to turn it off. The timer doesn't stop even if the beans are done so it just keeps going until it hits "0" but you can turn the grinder all the way to the right to turn it off...but the timer stills ticks along until it's done. Just strange. Sometimes the beans get a little stuck right before the grinder area so I have to lightly tap the side of the grinder or even tilt it a little to shake the beans down.I read previous reviews about the static where the ground coffee bin is. I don't have too much issues with it. If you lightly tap the side of the machine before you remove the bin, it does an ok job of keeping it all in. You will always have just a little to clean up but not much, this was not big deal for me.For the most part, for the price and what I've used it for, it's worked perfectly, no technical issues or broken unit yet. The flavor of the coffee seems better and richer than the grocery store grinders so coffee taste is better. I'll check back with you all if it breaks within the year but so far so good and I would recommend this product at this time.Update 10/21/16: My coffee grinder has now stopped grinding. I've cleaned it out so many times, put the beans back in, nothing, cleaned it out again, nothing. I was going to buy a different grinder but decided to try You Tube to fixes. I found a link on how to clean it properly which I did mostly except one thing [...]. There is the smallest square hole that all the grinds go through to dump into the clean container as it's grinding. Apparently, that little hole gets super packed with coffee grinds after barely grinding about a quarter to half of the medium size bag of coffee beans. So the trick is with this machine is only grind enough for maybe 10-12 cups of coffee (which is every day for us) and clean the machine thoroughly after every single use. So I gave it two stars for not lasting longer than one use, it's really tight in turning the coffee ground container and that square hole is very hard to reach and gets so packed and I had to use a strong tooth pick to dig out the grinds or it will stay clogged.Buyer beware, when I thought I was going to return it, I went to Amazon to see how I can get a replacement (before I knew how to clean it properly) and since it's fulfilled by Amazon, there is only a 30 day return policy, then they said to contact the seller. The seller "aSavings" says to read Amazon's return policy so in other words, you have 30 days and then it's a paper weight. However, the Capresso website says they have a one year warranty and it's the same price as Amazon.

Not Good For Espresso
After about a year of moderate use, it no longer grinds fine enough for espresso. I couldn't disassemble it to make adjustments. Moving on to a different grinder.

Nice little grinder.
Been using this grinder for about a month - so far so good. It gives the nice even grind, it has a small profile on the counter, it seems pretty simple and durable, and it's as easy to use as I'd hoped. Cleaning or static don't seem to be problems. For me it works well to follow grinding an oily bean with a dryer bean because, you know, variety, so I haven't found a need to clean it yet. That strategy may not be to someone else's liking. The timer allows me to consistently grind as much as I want. My only caveat is that the instructions warn against running the grinder with no beans, which could be a teensy bit nerve wracking. I like to switch from regular to decaf beans every day and would prefer not to leave beans in the hopper, but that's looking like the best solution. It's possible to stand by and turn the grinder off soon as the sound indicates no more beans, but I wonder if that'll eventually wear out the burr. I haven't tried it for espresso and probably won't.Update 07/31/2021 -The grind has become more course without my having changed the setting. When trying to adjust it I found that it's become very difficult to rotate the hopper. Then there's no change even when I've managed to move it to a finer setting. In the past 3 years I've only adjusted the grind a handful of times so it's unlikely that wear is the problem. The motor and timer have continued working OK. I'm adjusting my rating from 5 to 3 stars.

Nearly perfect coffee grinder
I've had this grinder for a few weeks now, and from the beginning I have been well impressed by its performance and design features. Relatively quiet due to its low speed grinding, feels very sturdy and seems like it should last a very long time. Grind quality is very consistent, and even though the grounds chamber is plastic, it does not seem to accumulate much static charge, so the grinds don't fly out when removing, and most of them fall out easily when emptying the chamber.Bean chamber is very well designed, with smooth adjustment for grinding fineness, and an effective baffle design to prevent the beans from bouncing around while grinding.A minor con, which I am guessing would be true for any burr grinder, is that there are some grounds left behind in the grinding area around the burrs. I've tried tapping and lightly shaking the grinder as it runs empty for a few seconds in an effort to minimize the residual grinds, but to no avail. So what this means is that the residual grounds will lose their freshness by the next day when you are ready to grind your next batch. These stale grounds will mix with the new grounds and reduce the freshness of your morning coffee.I've tried to run the grinder by pouring a measured amount of beans into the bean hopper and then run the grinder for slightly longer than necessary to completely grind the beans, but still see some residual grinds. Oh well...Have not tried the Capresso coffee beans yet.Update Nov.7, 2014 - Tried the Capresso beans and used them to make drip coffee. I think they are a blend that contains some Robusta beans, rather than pure Arabica. Can detect a bit of "cereal" aftertaste in these beans, whereas pure Arabica leaves a clean finish. Good taste, just don't care for the aftertaste.
