Perfect hand rail for our simple, small project... We ordered just one to help older family members stabilize for a single step down onto our driveway from the sidewalk...it's excellent! Simple but strong and very helpful for the elderly or anyone with knee, ankle or balance issues.

These handrails were the key to ditching a dated look for a modern vibe. They are solid construction and easy to install. They do not have base covers, but they are not needed for the modern look. I used two different sizes for a less rigid, more eye pleasing look for my space. They came with a black matte finish, but I spray painted them gold to match my decor. They are show stopping!

Great look but if you plan on using for brick or stone, the anchors provided are not sufficient.

The metal may be rated for 440 lbs but the weak laser welds at the base are definitely not. Once installed I gave it a moderate push sideways to make sure it would be safe for my father only to find the welds at the base instantly broke. The hardware that it comes with also seems fairly cheap quality wise. I still have two of the three railings I ordered so I’m going to take them to a weld shop and see if I can have them fixed so they are safe. To the company that makes these, do better and properly weld the bottom mounting plate instead of the flimsy laser welds.

We purchased two of these hand rails. The lady of the house is 76 with some balance issues which makes going in and out of doors difficult. We put one of the handrails just outside the patio door which has one step down. It has made going in and out of the door much easier and safer. We were so pleased with the results of installing one handrail that we purchased a second one and installed it just outside our front door. It has enabled us to use the door more often. Don't know if this item was designed for the purpose we used them for but they have worked and made things easier for us.

We have reached the age where we needed to add railings to our front steps. We wanted something a little different and found these. There wasn't much information available for our application, but we took a chance and are so glad we did. We modified the installation to reduce the number of holes to be drilled in our brick steps. We stained treated 2x4s as a base, used appropriate spacers to "lift" the base boards off the bricks to avoid rot, attached the base boards to the bricks with proper masonry screws slightly recessed and positioned so the recess is under the flange of the rail. They look great and provide stability as we use the steps. Very happy!

Pretty decent, takes some skill to install, they’re a bit warped, but overall love them !
