This brand is the best that I have ever tried for these reasons: + The dressing is thick and smooth and how amazing to find this thickness in a vinaigrette type of dressing! This one looks and tastes CREAMY and superb! + It is has a light and refreshing taste and it is the read deal with a distinct taste of Vidalia Onion in this dressing. + I use it right out of the bottle for my salad dressing and as a quick marinade, however, I use it for my own recipe of Tahini-Mustard-Onion Sauce as I love this as a sauce over my cooked noodles and even on mashed potatoes! Here is my recipe: + 3/4 TABLESPOON TO 1 TABLESPOON Gulden's mustard + 1 1/2 to 2 TABLESPOONS Tahini sauce + 2 to 3 TABLESPOONS Onion Dressing (ready made) such as a vinegrette one (creamy but less calories than regular creamy type). + 2 TABLESPOONS SOY SAUCE + 1 TABLESPOON OLIVE OIL or TOASTED SESAME OIL (has more flavor). Place all ingredients in a small to medium bowl and whisk briskly with a fork or a wire whisk until blended and this thickens. When I use this as an instant sauce, I pour it over one cup of cooked noodles and blend well. This is so much healthier and lower calorie than a heavy gravy with flour. Great Taste !!
Had to find a low salt salad dressing and this one fit the bill at 5 grams per 2 Tbsp serving. It’s great as a dip for other foods as well. As I am restricted to a low sodium diet I’m always looking for something to add a little more taste to my food. This is delicious.
