can each timer do a down-and-up sequence?

The timer is basically a count-down timer. It will count up at the end of each timer period expiring. Whether or not the alarm that signals the end of the timed period would ever stop - I don't know as I have never allowed it to run for very long. This is my second timer - the first one expired after 9 years of regular use - getting it wet with photographic chemicals probably didn't help.
