A year later, I'm pretty happy with these.
I bought 2 of these about 14 months ago. I liked the design that allows me to insert them directly into the dirt and the fact that they are tall. They helped me supplement the limited sunshine coming through some windows for a lime and lemon bush over the winter. The 9 hour (per day) timer was great; it was pretty accurate for me, unlike what a few others wrote. Similar to what another buyer wrote, one of them just started flickering badly. I expect the light will die soon, but as it is now, it's unusable; the flickering is enough to give someone a seizure. :-) We just has a neighborhood power outage but I've got a whole-house surge suppressor, but who knows if that was a factor. Just being honest so you can make your own judgement. The second light continues to work fine. I want to get a replacement, but I'm going to look for another brand first. It's a shame because I would otherwise be pretty happy with them. You could take a chance, especially since they are currently about 30% less than I paid for mine. That might be telling us more of the story, since President Tariff is making the price higher than it might normally be right now. Since I've had one of the two go flaky after just a year, and all of my other electronics are just fine, I have to give it two stars. Edit: I changed my review from 2 to 5 stars based on a much lower price and I was able to fix the bad light I wrote about above. I took a chance on buying one more of these, now I have 3. When the new 3rd one arrived, I thought, hmm, let me take the power supply from the new one and try it on the faulty light #2. It worked fine. Doh. So I ordered a replacement power unit for light #2 (about $6) and now I have 3 working lights. The first two I ordered were $30+. Based on the currently lower price of about $20, the low-cost of fixing one bad power supply, and then all the features I described above, I'd say this is a worthy purchase.

Updated review (do not recommend)
It does the job! Helps keep my plants alive! Living in a place where the sun barely shines. I needed a grow light! I didn’t want something super expensive! So I bought this. The only reason why I’m knocking one star. Is because it is really flimsy. It was knocked over once and fell on my plants. One leaf got ripped. But besides that. It honestly works very well! So well that I decided to buy a second one for my growing collection:)! I really like the timer this has! I don’t have to worry about turning it on and off every morning/night! Update: so I am now changing my review to a one star. I bought a second light in April and it has now stopped working in August… the controller on the light no longer responds. Everytime I unplug it to replug it. It sets itself on a timer. Which is very odd. After the light finally turns on (bc of the timer I did not put lol) it will stay on until I have to unplug it at the end of the night bc it will not turn off. I just think it’s odd that I unplugged this light like 10 times. And everytime I re plug it. The timer is automatically on. I do not recommend this product. Because it truly does not last long. I will now have to buy 2 new grow lights. And $60 just went down the drain:///

Acceptable, but not the best! Investigating other grow lights
I think this device works... kinda. BLUF: my plants responded when I started using the Taurusy grow light. Lots of new growth and shiny waxing looking health leaves! I bought 3 of them. first and second light are working fine. The third one initially worked but then suddenly stopped. it receives power from outlet, but the "blue" button on the timer is solid and no other buttons work. Light does now come on. tripod legs are "ok", but I agree that the overall stability it poor. It was easy enough to assemble, but just seems to be lacking a good "sturdiness" (meaning it's wobbly and easily collapses down into itself when you attempt to adjust height). As for the size, I wish there was an option to "clip on" or hang above the plants. Mine are on plant stands and the 55" height will be overrun in about a year if the plants height continues to rocket up Operating directions are poor! It basically tells you what the light colors are for, but not how to choose just white, or red (blue). If my plant is not is its "flowering season" - how do I just choose white and not full spectrum? The directions are really lacking!

Saved my lemon tree
I've had this light for a couple weeks and it has saved my lemon tree. Poor lemon was down to 9 leaves, we have very short days and it was a goner. After a couple weeks with this light 12 hours a day, it's bursting with new leaves. I set it up with the included stand. The pole is very lightweight and the wires run outside the pole, so wires dangling off the side so it's not the most attractive or stable, but it's $25 so I didn't expect an attractive floor lamp. I like that it's adjustable, both up and down and horizontally, i pushed it pretty low so lemon gets concentrated light. The lights aren't super strong so I don't think it would be good for more than 2 medium size plants unless they're fairly low light plants. The timer is nice but it doesn't really work for multiple days. I picked 12 hours and it went for 12 hours then turned off but didn't stay off for 12 hours so after a week it was coming on in the middle of the night so I just start the 12 hours each day and it's fine. For the money, this has worked great for me but I wouldn't want to have it in the living room or any place where I care about how things look.

Burning out after 6 months
I bought two of these and after 6 months of average daily use (12-14 hrs) they both have started flickering. I've looked through everything and can't find any warranty or replacement bulb info from the manufacturer. I own two other led grow lights I've had for over a year with no issues. I thought led lights last for at least a couple years with average use and am so disappointed and frustrated that I spent this money on something I need to replace so soon. I'm still searching for info to contact the manufacturer but it doesn't look good. Update: I was contacted by the supplier who offered a refund and shipped me a replacement light. I was concerned when I received the replacement because the lamps did not have a covering of any kind over the surface of the bulb like the original had and there were these sharp metal parts exposed. It just seemed very strange, like somethinggot left off during manufacturin. (I'd seen several reviews regarding this issue on here as well.) So I contacted Taursy and was told this was the "new design.) It has been 5 months since I received the replacement grow lamp and guess what? It has stopped working. It started with not turning off when I pressed the power button so I was unplugging it but now it is completely dead. I cannot believe how disappointing this is after all the back and forth. Ugggg!

I thought they were not long lasting…
I bought these 10 months ago.. and the lights have stopped working. The light on the switch controller are on but the actual grow lights don’t turn on. So while they were working the lights turned on and off according to timer I had set, but the light bulbs just stopped working. While it worked it was easy to use, assemble, timer was great, cord length was great, looked nice, I thought it was good quality but it didn’t last even a yr. I wish they sold replacement bulbs or offered replacements. Ok so remember reading in some other review somewhere that if you exchange the part that plugs to the wall for a different one it will work and so I did that and they started working again. So I changed my review to 3 stars, only because I had to find another cable that fit those lights. But they are working again!

Works great, but seems to operate on a 23 hour/day schedule
I use the tripod base and it's great for allowing me to rotate and move my plants freely and it doesn't take up a ton of space. The average cat could easily knock it over, but I don't have cats so it works for me. The light is sufficient for my primarily low to mid-light plants without blasting my eyes out. I really like the adjustable heads. The one problem I have is that mine seems to operate on a 23-hour per day schedule, so if I set it to turn on at 8am on day 1, it will progressively turn on earlier and earlier, and eventually it will just light up at midnight. I work from home so it's not usually a big problem, but when I travel my plant-assassin boyfriend has one more ally in his quest to destroy my collection and the overall ambiance of my living room. The other good features of the light make it worth it, and I'd probably buy another one since I haven't seen any other reviews mentioning my problem. My rabbits are pretty peeved with being woken up at midnight, but they can't write product reviews.

My plants finally stopped dying
My house runs pretty dark and I love having plants but they were struggling. These grow lights fixed that. The tripod stand is easy to adjust, the full spectrum light actually works, and my plants look healthy and happy sitting in their pots now. Simple, does exactly what it says, and my house still looks put together with them set up. One thing to know going in — plan on replacing them about once a year. They don't last forever but for the price that's not a dealbreaker for me. If you have a darker home and you're tired of watching plants slowly give up on you, grab these. Just budget for a replacement down the road.
