Charger does work great!! However I purchased this for the additional feature of the flashlight and after half a dozen uses it has stopped working.I would like to update my review to 5 stars!! Operator error on the flashlight not working. It does work just fine. Please accept my apologies on the original review.

When I first seen this item I was impressed, so I got one. It's easy to use and will get the job done ✔️

Originally, I purchased this jump starter/charger a few years ago. I used it to start a dead battery in my garage without needing to hook to another car. I also jump started a truck for a stranger at a convenience store. You cannot make a mistake hooking this up. However, when I bought a new car, I neglected to remove it from my trade-in so I needed to replace it. The product came as promised. It comes in a hard case in a coordinating color with the flashlight. The instructions are printed on the bag the flashlight comes in so you don’t have to keep a paper owner’s manual somewhere and hope you don’t lose it. I put the date that I need to re-charge it in my phone’s calendar so I remember to re-charge it every 3 months. No one that sees this believes that it will jump start a truck or a completely dead battery, but they are always amazed.

Most convenient jump starter for weight. So compact with very clear instruction. It's dependable and easy to use. Charge it every 2 or 3 months and holds it charge.

This thing is awesome for starting a car when the battery is dead. It’s an instant “Kiss Of Life” the moment you connect it. However, the flashlight on mine doesn’t work, so four stars. I’ll update this review if the manufacturer makes it right for me. But if you need to jump start a car, this sucker is magic, and easy as pie to use.

At first I had a hard time getting the charger attached to my battery correctly, but once I finally got it on right it started the car in seconds! No fault of the charger, my hybrid Ford just makes charging the battery difficult.

This is the second one of these devices that I have. I bought this one for my parents because they are amazing. I got the first one and charged it fully put it in my car and promptly forgot about it. 3 1/2 months later driving in late at night, I stopped at a restaurant a little too far away from the interstate. It was super dark out, the restaurant closed, and I realized that I had been sitting for the last half an hour singing songs with my family while having the headlights on and the radio on. When I tried to start the car, the battery was dead. I remembered That I had this in the back of the car and was able to use the flashlight on my cell phone to get it hooked up. FYI for my minivan Do you do you have to put the negative on the negative. You cannot just clip it onto the frame. I don’t know why this is but it’s true. As soon as I had it hooked up correctly though the lights in the car came on and I started it right up. Even after that I still was only down one dot on the charge. I have been telling everyone about this. I know it’s expensive but it really is great. You can charge your cell phone fully and number of times from it the flashlight is pretty good and I’m just thrilled with how long it holds a charge. Also you can charge it from your car so you don’t accidentally leave it sitting on your kitchen counter waiting to charge :-)

I have used this to start my old truck that sits in the yard for months at a time un used. I love it so muchI showed it to my brother in law, and he purchased one the next day. Great product, the emergency lightis out standing.
