This wooden train set is the perfect addition to any little ones train set or just as a free-standing play toy. I loved the variation in the painted designs. You have a practical train pulling milk and vegetables from a farm. You have another simple train that looks to be pulling coal and a red train car. Then you have a whimsical train that is pirate-themed. My three-year-old immediately recognized that it was pirate-themed and the pretend play ensued. The magnets are strong and hold the train together well. I checked each magnet individually and they all seemed to be well affixed to the train cars. The paint job is good and the quality of these wooden trains is comparable to others from bigger name brands. I recommend this train set for the variety and the quality.

Magnets work well and our 3 year old loves attaching all the cars together and pulling the train everywhere. Even our 5 year old gets in on the play with these at times. I like that he can reattach them himself because of the strength of the magnets. Being solid wood these will hold up well.

WoodenEdu set of 3 themed wooden trains are quite nice. There is a pirate themed train, farm and a cargo train. The colors and details are well done and they roll well. The magnets are of good strength and will hold a long line of cars. The wooden display box is also of good quality with nice detail and strength. Trains are the theme for December in Pre-K and I am excited for the kiddos to have these new trains to play with. These would also make a thoughtful gift.

I ordered this specifically for the pirate train and the other two trains were just a bonus. They are all well painted and cute. The three locomotives only have a magnet on the back so you have three separate trains but can't connect all nine pieces together. The wooden case that is the packaging is very sturdy but doesn't have a cover. I suppose that you could stand it upright to be a display case. I'm not sure how many kids would find that useful. Without a cover the train pieces just fall out anytime that the box is tipped over.ThreeYearOld and the adults thought that this was a fun set. The box will probably be discarded or repurposed but the train cars are great.

My son loves trains and this was perfect for him. He loves to play with this train set, and putting the trains together with the magnets. He’s sutible with the wooden train tracks and the magnets hold the trains together easily. It’s fun and great to play with for a toddler.

I'm happy to report that this works with a standard wood train track - it's why I got this in the first place.It comes in a real wood box, which looks quite nice. I also really like the graphics on the trains - the pirate-themed one is really fun.The magnets fit with other sets, so you can make these into existing sets of long trains. The kids also seem to be a fan of these.

These magnetic trains are a favorite of my 19 month old grandson. He loves the magnetic feature of the trains. The colors are bright. The trains are the perfect size for the littlest of hands. They fit perfectly on the grooves of the standard wooden click together tracks.
