Edit: I was able to contact the seller and we found a solution. Thank you.Installed this item and within 3 weeks, one of the four fabs stored working. At 4 weeks, all of the fans are not working. I have a hole cut out of my coop wall for this fan.. it’s not as easy as “uninstall it and send it back for a refund”. Besides that, I’m passed the return window.I’ll try to upload a photo or video later.I did check it before installation and I made sure the solar panel is in a prime spot for sunlight.

Fan won't work at all in the shade, but when the sun is out it circulates the air pretty well.Don't expect enough air to keep you cool on a hot day. Think of it more like a desktop computer fan. It's enough to circulate the air, but that's about it.I mounted the solar panel on in top of my shed. The mounting bracket is functional but will likely bend during the next tornado warning storm. If the area you live in has mild weather it might hold up. Many similar fans don't include a mounting bracket, so it's hard to complain.It's nice to have a switch that allows you to turn it on and off, because you don't want it blowing in cold outside air during the winter.Don't expect much, it's more like a small attic fan, it's not going to move a ton of air. But it does work ok. I just wanted something for my shed that circulated the hot humid air during the summer. It's better than nothing.*EDIT* I've had this unit up and running for a few months in a very hot and humid shed and it seems to keep the shed a good dealer cooler than it was before having the fan. I leave it in the ON position all the time, so when the sun is out, it's blowing air inside the shed.

Flimsy Construction. Wiring on back looked like it was thrown together by hand and rigged. Set up in sun to test and only one fan was working. This item feels like a 10 dollar item not 30.

My Wife has a resin shed she starts seeds in and stores her gardening supplies in, it full sunlight the shed can reach 130 degrees or more. I bought this to take the edge off of the heat when she goes in there to work, and it works quite well, I pull cooler air from the dark woods on the back side of the shed. The internal temp is now much more manageable at around 80 degrees, and she is relieved to walk in there and not get hit with a blast of air much hotter than ambient. The panel works well, and doesn't require full sun to work, which was a relief.

Ordered in February, so box sat for a month until March when I could install unit in greenhouse. Ran for 3 days before completely failing. Appears to be one of products components, not the solar panel or connection. Would not run when cord plugged into a power source via usb cable. The paperwork states they provide after sale service and to contact customer service, yet box and manual provide no phone number or website.Update: The buyer store has contacted me and promised a full refund.

The media could not be loaded. I had a positive initial impression, but the lack of a battery backup was a deal-breaker for me. The fan was packed amazingly and easy to assemble. The solar panel worked well, pushing out immaculate air when it received sunlight. However, even just a tiny bit of shade triggered the fan to shut off completely. Unfortunately, I realized that the fan didn’t have a battery backup. Since my chicken coop area experiences shade throughout the day, the fan couldn’t run continuously, which led to my decision to return it. Despite the positive aspects, the lack of a battery backup made it unsuitable for our specific needs. I’m now planning to purchase one with a battery backup.

Even with direct full sun all 4 fans sometimes won't start. You have to manually spin the blades to get them ro run. When all 4 fans are running it does OK. Suitable for a small area.
