Full disclosure. I am not a nurse, although when I was an elementary principal of a rather large school and my nurse wasn’t there, I took on the nurse role and soon learned that an ice pack or band aid handled most of the minor accidents that landed on my lap. My sister is a nurse, and I’ve listened to loads of stories from her over the years as she’s navigated her way through the hospital, working in the NICU unit, emergency room, cancer ward, etc. Working in a hospital is stressful. My sister is a special person, skilled and empathetic. I was curious to see this book.This is what I liked about it. It has a variety of fun activities that focus on hospitals. There are crossword puzzles, sudoku puzzles, mazes, mini clue game who dunnits, silly comics, nurse trivia, trivia questions, activities where you have to find words in a jumble of letters, and the list goes on. Each activity is at a good level so that it will take you time to do it, but that it’s not so challenging that you’ll need the rest of your life to complete it. It will keep you occupied, it’s fun, and it will make you feel good when you’re finished.If you are a nurse or have a nurse as a friend or relative, this would be a good gift. Kudos to the author for putting it all together and honoring this very difficult job!5 stars.

Cute and fun but there are quite a few errors which makes solving puzzles not as easy

The activities in this book have been a pleasure to engage with, each one infused with a delightful nursing/medical theme that resonates well with the profession.The illustrations, while simple, perfectly complement the content, and the cartoon jokes are funny especially if you're a nurse.The layout of the book is well thought out, with a clean format that's easy on the eyes. The cover design also gets a thumbs up from me.I look forward to purchasing copies for my nurse friends!

I appreciate the efforts of the authors. There was several typos that made the puzzles difficult to finish. It was nice to have the cheat guide included in the book. Thank you for making something tailored to nurses.

As a former pediatric oncology nurse, I thought this activity book was genius! It was very fun for me to follow along the pages and solve the problems. Most days at the hospital are busy, but every once in awhile there is a slow day, and it would be super fun to do the activity book in those moments. All nurses need a way to unwind after mentally and physically exhausting days, and this book is a great way to do it!

This is a really nice book because it includes so many activities dealing with such a worthy profession. Nurses are highly in demand and this book can cultivate a young person to seriously consider learning more about this field of study. The activities in this book are awesome for this task. Better yet, the book teaches much of the language and words that are used in the field of nursing. Awesome!
