Good value for practising the basics.
Great value lens. I’ve since bought an auto focus lens but it was great practising with this manual lens as it means you have to really think about aperture and shutter speed as well adjusting the focus. I’d recommend this if you want to learn as you have to think about your settings; otherwise I’d suggest spending a little bit more to get an automatic lens.

Was hoping for more
I was hoping for perhaps more than I got. I tried it on my sony A6000 but I found it to be very soft and difficult to focus. focus peaking on A6000 just didn't do it, unlike some of the vintage lens that I have. I was hoping for something much better but perhaps I've been spoiled by the vintage chinon and pentacon lens that I bought for same price. Sad to say I had to return it. Perhaps it will suit others and possibly my expectations were higher.

Great lense for the price
It'll take some time to learn the adjustments and handling of the manual lenses. Once learned, it is so enjoyable activity. It is my first ever lense I've had other than the kit lense. I didn't wanted to spend a lot of money on to the camera lenses when I'm learning. For the price of £59.99 I believe it is an absolute bargain. The product looks like a vintage lense that we often see in the pictures of old film cameras. It has an aperture ring and focus ring that needs to be controlled manually and it is really a fun activity too.The rings are promptly responding to the movements without any issue. The 1.7 f gives us a crystal clear nice bokeh effects with some efforts. I'm totally in love with it. One of the major issue I experienced is my shaky hands. I was able to overcome this by using a tripod and sometimes by clicking multiple shots.

Simple manual lens
Nice size lens, good alternative to a 50mm which can be to tight angled for an aps-c sensor

Great image quality. Great value for money.
This is a manual focus lens, so I don't understand why Amazon ask to rate the auto focus and image stabilization features. Anyway, it's a great lens for the money. What would win it a 5 star rating from me would be click stops for the aperture settings.

Very very happy!!
I have been considering whether or not to buy this little gem for sometime. I am always very skeptical over ‘budget’ lenses. However I am so glad I bit the bullet and bought this lens. I’m going travelling in a few months and really looking forward to taking this with me. I have had it for less than a day and already been out and about testing it’s capabilities. And as seen from my lovely dog (Lola) it captures some very very nice images.A friend, a professional photographer who has his own very expensive kit actually asked me what lens I used, and he was blown away when I sent him the Amazon link.Very happy and would certainly recommend this to any creatives who are looking to get some kit under budget restraints.

Great value and a great choice, especially for budgets or beginners
This lens has made getting my Sony a6000 worth it. I only just had enough budget for the camera and its kit lens, but getting this has made all the difference. It works amazingly in combination with the a6000's focus peaking (which lets you tell what's in focus when using the lens's manual focus). The pictures look pretty great. They obviously aren't as good as something much more expensive, but they definitely do the job and as someone just getting into photography this lens has been what really taught me about my camera and its settings. I'm very happy with it, especially on a budget.

Great lense for the price. Just remember, all manual
The lense is completely manual, so don't expect to be able to just point and shoot. It does require some practice, but once you get the hang of it, you can get some lovely shots with a great depth of focus. For macro, get a tripod or something you can stabilise your camera with.Would look get further lenses my Neewer now I've got the skill down.
