For use on a Windows PC the instructions sate the wrong URL. I found this on another forum and it works OK: Had the same problem. "Go to www.51scope.cn. In other words drop the "/files/setup.rar" from the url given in the instructions. Scroll down the page to "setup.exe" and download that file. It's a .rar file so it needs to be extracted b/4 install. The extracted file will install the program ViewPlayCap. When I opened the program it connected to my PC's built in webcam. Could not get it to see the USB cam until I disabled the webcam in Device Manager. After restart it connected to the USB cam and all worked well." Hope that helps. Other than that it works ok but you have to get the focus right by moving the probe in and out. Good focus as approx 30 mm.

The item is cheap, fair enough, I dont expect top notch for a tenner.What I do expect, is that it actually works, the hardware may well be fine, but I will never be able to find out, because I cannot get the software to work properly, I have tried on Android 5,6 and 8, unfortunately I do not have a A7 device so cannot try it.The issues range from, the app at the loading screen and never going any further, the app at the loading screen then getting a message it has stopped, the app loading and instantly crashing, the app loading then disconnecting from the wi-fi about 5 seconds later, the app loading but nothing works as in, it has frozen.Another example of hardware completely let down by software that has clearly not been tested properly if at all and ultimately renders the device useless.My advice, if you discover any device using the HD SEE app, avoid it, the software is utter trash, unreliable and clearly does not work properly on a variety of devices.

This wireless endoscope is great for seeing in small places I got this and tested the image quality which is very clear and crisp and allows you to see so much as well as this it has little lights around the camera to illuminate the image and am so glad it is wireless so no wires connected to my phone

make sure you download HD SEE app i made same mistake and installed hd scope by mistake and will not connect as it comes up as first hit on google play

Absolutely useless, cannot find any software that supports a very useful piece of hardware. HD SEE app. doesn’t work on iPad or iPhone, no app. in google play for android and where you find the software for a laptop is anyone’s guess. The instructions are a waste of paper. It will be returned on Monday.
