Just a heads up for anyone interested in the ivory colored towels. They're beautiful towels, very soft and luxurious - but they are also yellow. I would not call them a true ivory. I'd call them a very light lemon yellow. I'm color conscious with my household design and accessories, and I know many others are too. So I wanted to review these for anyone else trying to match ivory colored hues.

This actually is a lovely towel set, that is very very soft. In fact, too soft. My guess is, these towels have been treated with some sort of chemical, because they do not even absorb enough water to dry you after a bath or shower.I intend to wash these a few more times, and then they will go into the guest room. ;-)If these were going to be everyday towels, I would have returned them. However, for what they will be used for and because of their low price, I think they will be fine.Update: 2/14: I really liked these towels when I bought them, so I bought a second set. After 2 washings they started to really feel good. On my third washing, the large towel frayed all around the edges! Just a heads up to you folks to wash these before your 30 days are up. I have 3 days to return them for a refund or another set. This might have been a bad set as the first set is holding up very well.

The towels are nice, but definitely no longer heavyweight. Every time they're washed, there is a large amount of lint coming off of them. Nice looking & OK, but not if you want heavyweight towels.

These towels are reminiscent of the towels at a top luxury hotel I once stayed at. I've never seen ones that even came close to being comparable until now. These are oh so nice!

I washed the towels three times before using, as instructed. When I wipe my face or mirror, they may sometimes leave behind a little lint still. I will continue to wash them separately and on gentle. Do not use bleach. They are really soft and have held together well. They are absorbent, pretty, and high quality.

I ordered this product and it arrived on time. It has beautiful detail however even after the second wash it leaves lent on your skin.

I was very pleased with the quality of these towels. I bought several sets to replace the ones I had at our beach house. Our first guest wanted to know where she could get them! They are soft and absorbent and wash well. Be careful of the strength of your detergent to prevent fading and wash in cold water. I used a "whitening power" detergent on a couple of towels and they faded a little. With my other detergent they did not.

Love these towels. They are light weight yet absorbent the ivory is the exact color I needed. Some ivory is almost white. This is real ivory
