Perfect Tattoo Aftercare
I have been using this bandage as aftercare for my tattoo clients for a couple years now. After using multiple different brands and trying different methods, I have found this brand to be the most effective and affordable. Unlike "tattoo-derm" which is expensive and cumbersome, this bandage allowed for you to see the area you are placing your bandage by being see through. Which is much like the 3m equivalent, although Smith & Nephew is more affordable, nearly 10$ cheaper per roll. This is an indispensable healing product in my opinion, minimizing the chance of infections exponentially. This type of barrier prevents the tattoo from sticking to clothing, sheets and collecting outside bacteria. When applied in the proper way in a sterile environment there is no better way to care for a tattoo. Lasting up to three days, once it is removed the tattoo is already in the peeling process, skipping the scabbing stage by allowing the skin to heal itself. Not only that, but the barrier is breathable and waterproof. All in all I have done my research and absolutely recommend this bandage to other artists and all of my clients. Tips for applying this bandage to a tattoo area 1. Clean the tattoo with gloved hand, or if it is on yourself, wash hands thoroughly then clean the surface with a clean paper towel. Use a mild soap and water. 2. Pat tattoo dry with clean dry paper towel. 3. Once surface is completely dry cut bandage to size and apply, leaving a 1/2 inch to an inch barrier on all sides. 4. If bandage becomes pinched or ruffled at edge, cut a small pice and lay flat over edge to prevent fluid from escaping. 5. A heat rash may occur after a day or so, if this is the case remove the bandage, clean surface, let it dry then happy thin coat of lotion. If you are a client always confide in your tattoo artist not in other clients when curious about healing methods. I am a professional tattoo artist of 4 years who owns a studio in Navarre, Florida. My husband also uses this aftercare and has been tattooing for over 16 years.

Absolutely Superior Product
I'm using this because the tegaderm carried at the local drug stores is never the right size or price. I wear medical patches that need to start on for a week, but the only thing you can use is a tegaderm type film since it allows the skin to breathe. This fits the bill. I believe once I calculated it out I found that this roll will last me just over 2 years, so the value is superb. I actually prefer this to the 3m kind most stores carry. The adhesive holds up better, yet is more gentle when removed. There's a grid for sizing and it's easier to apply than the previously mentioned 3m type. It's packaged well, MUCH better price, easy to use, and a superior product.

Good deal, and probably the best I've tried
I really like this stuff. In addition to what other reviewers have stated as uses, it also works well as almost a "band-aid" to cover certain types of cuts or splits in your skin (e.g., paper cuts or any small cut or split on fingers) b/c it keeps it clean and is mostly waterproof; so, it stays on through washings. I've used a couple of other brands in the past, and they've all been okay; but I think I like this brand best. PROS: - It's a little thicker (not much) than the others, which makes it a little easier to use. The others often got twisted or stuck to itself if I was using a smaller piece, which meant it was wasted. This brand doesn't do that nearly as much. - It is more of a "matte" finish, whereas most others are glossy. Not a big deal, but it does make it a lot more subtle. - You can cut this in virtually any size piece and still use the two step process to adhere it to your skin. - It was the cheapest product like this I could find, when you factor in length, width, etc. CONS: - The only con I found was that the "step 2" backing tends to come off before the "remove first" backing, despite trying to get it off in the right order. But this isn't a big deal, just a minor inconvenience.

I am giving this a lower grade is that it does not stick well to sweaty skin
The main reason I am giving this a lower grade is that it does not stick well to sweaty skin. I use this for cosplay and while comfortable, the poor design makes it hard to apply or fit on certain regions of the body. It has uses in wound care, but the skin has to be completely dry for it to adhere.

Smith And Nephew Flexifix Opsite Transparent Adhesive Film Roll
I purchased this product after a previous manufacture changed the size and quality of a similar type of film. Actually I had been using this film until they raised the price per roil which sent me looking for a lower priced product. I have been very pleased with the quality of this film even prior to the price change. I was very pleased that the price is once again very affordable for this superior product. I use this film to secure a very costly prescription medical patch that cannot be replaced should it fall off. The film is very well suited for what I use it for and does a really good job of keeping the patch in place and it is very moisture resistant while letting the skin beneath it breath I highly recommend this film not only for what I use it for but most likely it would be great for covering new tattoos because of its high quality.

Nice Bandage
I used this when I worked in surgery for 18 years, and loved it. I now keep some at home, and use if someone has a cut or wound that needs protection. I have also used this to cover new tattoos, and my son's road rash. You can cut this to any size needed. I always use a telfa pad, gauze, or silver alginate dressing under the OP site, so that it does not stick directly to the cut or wound. If used with a silver alginate dressing, you can leave this one for up to one week, as long as the seal is not broken. I can't tell you how many times this stuff has come in handy.

Yup. This is the one to buy.
Do you know how hard it is to find a bandage covering that meets the exact requirements of a Fentanyl patch, AND actually sticks? Whew, it's tough. So I searched the Internet, read the reviews, and decided on the roll instead of the precut ones. It made more sense, both common and price wise, to go this direction. I just cut off the amount I want, peel it, and apply it over my patch. I've showered and bathed with this covering my patch and it has performed perfectly. Keeping the patch dry and keeping it stuck to my arm! Even when I forget I have it on and scrub the area it hasn't come off. Couple of tips. Make sure to cut the piece much larger than the area you need covered, it helps when in the water. When applying the film on, the corners MUST be stuck on with no loose edges. If they are sticking out, or pulling away, it WILL allow water in and then it falls right off. So be sure there are no ripples, waves, or loose corners! Don't worry it's really easy to peel and stick.

Great for sensitive skin
Good for sensitive skin! I cannot use the tape given with my CGM Guardian but this works perfectly. It's easy to cut to the correct size and sticks down really well. For me, the edges do not tend to come up but it is still easy and painless to remove. Stretching it and pulling it to the side is the best way to remove it in my opinion for more sensitive areas. It keeps my CGM completely dry the whole 7 days. I did have some issues with the sides starting to come up when I had a ten day sensor but it wasn't enough to be an issue. I also like that it's clear so I can see if there is any issue with my sensor. I also used to use this to temporarily tack down the tubing of my pump while playing sports. Really reasonably priced as it lasts me almost a year!
