soft cotton, even for a baby
Sews well (use a needle designed for knits) I will be buying much more of this fabric. So soft and stretchy.

The description said it was muslin.
What I received was a thin natural color cotton knit. I ordered this to teach embroidery, not suitable for that. I'm off to the big "J" store

Light jersey fabric
This fabric reminded me most of a light cotton jersey. Like the ones that when you wash them too many times you can see through them. It's a lot of fabric for very little out of pocket. I think it would be great for embroidery if you like making iron on patches. It's a little stretchy and sticky (clingy- fabric on fabric ) for drafting out patterns. It works well for lining light duty bags. Though it's very difficult to sew on a machine if you never sewn a fine stretch fabric.
