Further developing the revolutionary work of Zecharia Sitchin, Chris Hardy shows that the "gods" of ancient myth, visitors from the planet Nibiru, created us using their own "divine" DNA--first through DNA extraction from their own ribs' marrow and later by direct relations with early human females. Drawing upon multiple sacred texts, Hardy details the genetic engineering of humanity by Anunnaki scientist Ninmah, with the help of Enki and Hermes. She reveals how Ninmah's first female human creation, Tiamat/Eve, contained more alien DNA than the earlier male one, Adamu, and how the biblical Noah represents the perfection of her work. Examining the war between Anunnaki brothers Enki and Enlil, Hardy reveals how the concepts of sin and the inferiority of women were born out of Enlil's attempts to enslave and then wipe out humanity, repeatedly thwarted by Enki and Ninmah. The author further explains how the sacred sexuality taught to humans--still seen in Tantric practice--became suppressed millennia later by the patriarchal concept of original sin and how innocent Eve took the blame for the expulsion from Eden and fall from Grace. Showing that the god who created us was not the same god who expelled us from Eden, Hardy explains that there will be no apocalypse because the Good/Evil duality has never truly existed--it has been only enemy gods fighting and implicating humanity in the wake of their own competition for power. With a full psychological understanding of how the ancient "gods" have shaped humanity's ongoing history of conflict, we can move beyond the framework of "(my) Good versus (your) Evil" imposed by Enlil and begin to steer our own planetary destiny. Review: A riveting take on our existence. - DNA of the GODS has certainly opened my eyes. The Anunnaki were indeed an incredible species; what with their advanced technological achievements and of course - our creation, it makes me wonder as to what else is out there we don't know or are not being told about. The overall book was well written and easy to digest, however there is one small niggle I couldn't help but notice. It seems as though Chris Hardy has taken the books of Zecharia Sitchin and re-hashed them without doing some actual archaeology of her own. It is, to all intent and purposes, all 7 books of Zecharias creation series compounded into one book. Although having said this I am grateful she has; it has made sense and brought to bare the realities of how we came into existence. An compelling and interesting read. Review: Excellent read. Could not put it down! - This book is a must read for any one who has ever questioned organized religion, the bible and patriarchal society. The whole "Adam and Eve" true story was a revelation to me. I saw the title on a list of recommended books on the Wake Up World website in an article about humanity and consciousness raising. Personally I think it should be compulsory reading in High Schools in our present world of religious intolerance and extremism. I am very glad I downloaded it.

interesting although very little original material, but a gret read for those not familiar with the theory.

Mainly confusing, although some parts are brilliant.
Parts where the author summarises the Sumerian tablets are so confusing that it is frustrating to read. It would have been really helpful if she'd done a genealogy tree with the names of all the participants outlined in Sumerian, Ancient Egyprian and Greek. Parts where the author describes her own experiences and findings are brilliant.

Interesting, although the idiosyncratic use of transatlantic English makes it difficult to follow at times. The reader also needs a degree of familiarity with the genre to understand some of the conclusions reached, however, the book has encouraged me to further study of this subject and the Sumerian clay tablets in general.

Good Book. But it should be read only after you have gone through Zecharia Sitchin"s books. Otherwise it will be difficult to understand & grasp the subject.

Engaging, convincing, and great, even for skeptics!
I was impressed and educated by this book. Yes, there were some non-five-star elements to it, but overall, it was a great read. I've been hard-pressed to accept Sitchin's version of Sumerian events at our human origins, but Chris Hardy has managed to change my view. I'm still skeptical, but much less so. The version of events put forth in this book are more plausible to me than any other account I've heard, especially the Bible's. We hack dna - we are slaves to money, society, and the system -is it so implausible that somebody hacked our dna, made slaves of us? And then, when we got smart enough to want to be treated better, abused us and piled blame and shame on our heads, keeping us spinning in perversity beyond our comprehension so that we might remain forever enslaved? Except, as Hedges says, we've already surpassed our progenitors and masters. Armageddon will not happen, because the premise is wrong. It's not Good vs. Evil, it's two brothers fighting, with one of them being quite delusional and cruel - the one posing as the good one. Yes, it's presented clearly with enough foundation for me to buy it, especially because it makes sense intuitively. To the person who called the work 'narcissistic' - that's the wrong word. Chris Hardy is a person who is fully aware of her intellectual and spiritual power - a non-apologist, demonstrating through her writing the very truths she hashes out. I love all the thought-experiments - every loose end that I can think of has been handled, and many of her thought experiments were the same as mine, with the same conclusions. The only argument I have is with her description of attainments - various samadhis related to chakras, etc -some of the part around her spiritual accomplishment is both self-congratulatory (it's hard to be matter-of-fact about one's attainment, I suppose), and not 100% correct - the thousand-petal-lotus at the crown chakra may be the transcendental point, but the heart-mind bindu at the heart center is the true jewel in the lotus, and she never mentions it. Everything else she said, all the way down to developing critical thinking in addition to samadhi, is spot on. Hurray for this book!

Well researched book
I am not finished the book yet, but I am enjoying it very much. I am a fan of Zechariah Sitchin and the author refers to his work a lot. It is a very well researched book, well thought out and informative.

Humanitys best read.
The author has extensively researched the material and put this book together. The book is not fiction but facts and one must read to clearly understand how humanity may have come into being. Unfortunately, many are deep-rooted in their traditional beliefs and so it is a take it or leaves it situation for some when reading the book.

Smart
Quite a read, layered and smart . Builds to unexpected yet brilliant insights and eye popping possibilities. Sometimes it seems like we humans have only just been born and we are only just opening our eyes for the very first time
