These are a set of precision Japanese made slotted jewellers' screwdrivers made available at an affordable price. Although not quite matching in quality the top Swiss or German elite professional equivalents, a set of both slotted and cross-head will together only cost about one fifth that of the European alternatives, and there may be fewer sizes included at the far higher price. A single Swiss or German tool in a size offered here and purchased alone will probably cost about half as much again as this entire set.Quality-wise they are really good and include at least one smaller size probably exclusive to some fine watches. However, some will prove useful in repairing mobile phones, games consoles and other electronic equipment where smaller sizes of screws are used that are far too small and delicate for any other screwdriver. These will also prove useful to tighten the screws used in spectacle frames, especially those of the hinges which more easily and more often loosen and eventually are lost.If you need them. it may also be worth considering the cross-head set, too - they use a green size card internally rather than the pink one used here although there is a printed sizing error for the largest - it should read +2 and not +1.

After buying several cheap kits which seem to last no time at all, this one does seem to be far superior quality. Recommended.

Good quality "watchmaker's" tools. I'm so glad I bought these - well made, accurate, straight tips and don't slip or fall apart in use. Well worth the extra. So tired of cheap, poorly made tools - like it says, ;buy cheap, buy twice'. Get these more expensive ones and save money!

I purchased this set as a replacement for my old set of screwdrivers also made in Japan with a makers name (Niwa) stamped on them. IMO these are neither precision or high quality but of average quality and a bit pricey for what they are. Having said that, these screwdrivers are quite useable if the blades are thinned down a bit when repairing on old clocks or cameras. If you need real quality screwdrivers look else where.

Fine-tipped - watch your fingers! Seem hi-quality. To be frank, you can buy MUCH cheaper - but trust me on this: you GET much cheaper quality as well... If I were forced to be negative, they rattle in their case when it is lugged about in a carrier bag. They stay in their places, but they just rattle. That's it.

Poor quality with brittle tips which break very easily,very ordinary indeed

I purchased these at the same time as a similar set of phillips screwdrivers. They went back because one of the screwdriver tops was bent. Reluctantly, I also returned this set of flat bladed screwdrivers because, although they generally looked ok, the largest screwdriver blade was not ground square to the shaft. These were to replace a cheap Chinese set I already own, all of which are cut square and look remarkably similar.

This is a good set of screw drivers and worth the money. I was concerned they would be no better than the ones for a pound.
