Perfect for the job intended.
The product did meet our expectation. It came as described. Unlike other eye wash cups, the pedestal made it much easier to hold on to when using it and being glass was easily cleaned/sterilized.

Snug fit and no leakage!
I LOVE this eye wash glass! I had one for several years and of course I dropped it in the sink and it broke. So I bought this one to replace it, not sure what to expect. I was skeptical at first, knowing I needed a snug fit to avoid leakage. The last thing I wanted was the eye wash running down my face! Not a problem with this one -- it fit perfectly! And it was very easy to use, and a good value for the money. I've used it several times now and I'm very pleased with it. I would buy it again!

Old fashion eye cup. So helpful.
This is a very handy device if you need to wash and rinse your eyes. Well made.

Perfect for smaller eye sockets (probably?)
As others have noted, it's on the small side. No matter how I position it, it's touching my eyeball through the eyelid, so I can't really press for a seal. Still functional, though. I think it'd be great for kids.

Ideal after Sanding a Mold Mark Smooth
This eye cup is glass, it fits comfortably in the eye socket, and it holds the right amount of fluid. The glass is important to me, because it means no BPA and I can boil it for ten minutes to sterilize it. Yes, I found a couple of mold marks on the sides (not on the surface you press into the eye socket) that were a little rough. So, as I was rinsing it before its initial use, I sanded the rough marks smooth with an emery board as I held it under the faucet. It took 15 seconds, so I am not downgrading it for this. Recently I got a little eye infection, probably from rubbing my eye with a less than perfectly clean hand. It was not pink eye; my tear ducts were swollen and the eye had some discharge but didn’t get red. Anyhow, I made up a saline solution with distilled water and kosher salt, boiled for fifteen minutes, then cooled. The saline bath was very effective...this particular eye infection cleared up within 24 hours. I fill the eye cup about 3/4s full of saline solution, place the stem between my third and ring fingers (palm toward my face,) bend over to fit the cup into my eye socket, press the cup to fit comfortably around my eye, raise my head with the cup pressed in place, bathe my eye, and blink a number of times to make sure the saline is bathing the eye and tear ducts. Then I bend back over to remove the eye cup, empty it, and clean it. I experience no leaks, though I keep a clean tea towel at the ready just in case. I have huge, protruding eyes, and the eye cup fits comfortably in my eye socket leaving plenty of room for the eyelids and eye. I can see that this cup will also help me during allergy season, when my eyes get gummy, and in the winter, when my eyes get too dry. I’m really glad I got this glass eye cup.

Great eye cups that you can sterilize with boiling water.
I prefer the glass cup as I currently have an eye infection and wanted something that I can boil to sterilize it after using. In fact I have 2 cups, one for each eye, so as to not spread the germs from eye to eye. I have had solution leak from the sides but not like pouring down my face. And sometimes no dribble at all. It's perfecting the suction between eye socket, liquid and face. I'll probably be more of an expert as I care for my infection :)

I can remember my dad using one of these little eye cups to clean the coke dust from his eyes when I was a girl of ten or so. Every day he came home from his job at the coke ovens in the steel plant and would spend fifteen or twenty minutes in the bathroom flushing his eyes with this little glass cup. As I myself aged I found I had a lot of grit in my eyes in the morning when I woke up. The eye specialist told me to get some eye wipes from the pharmacy and clean my eyes every morning with them. Well I did. And it worked but at eighty, I just didn't like using the wipes, so I went searching for something else to use. And WHAM! That's when I found the same little eye cup my dad used those many years ago. I ordered two! One for me and one for my husband. Thank you Universe! I have been using this little cup every morning when I get up and my eyes feel like great. No more sticking together and no more sandy grunge feel in them. Most importantly I am not rubbing them constantly anymore. Thank you Amazon for selling this little jewel. And also for bringing back the sweet memories of my dad. :)
