I purchased this set in preparation for perhaps my first black tie attire event. Of the items included here, I really needed only the cufflinks. However, even if the studs I already had for my pleated shirt were already close to matching the cufflinks here, I went ahead and bought this set anyway, because it was a wonderfully convenient, cheap way to get all these accessories in a completely unified style in one package that included a tie clip, which I've never owned but is a helpful addition to round out my formal attire purchases. I had actually JUST placed an order for a set of cufflinks and studs when I noticed this set, which included the tie clip, looked almost identical, and yet was about ten dollars cheaper. I really like keeping things minimal, simple and traditional (which a black tie event calls for anyway), and this product made it easier with a classic look. I'd also read a review mentioning the problem of cufflinks and/or studs falling out easily with use, but I'm happy to report that despite the black tie event ending with some hard dancing that I eagerly joined, none of these guys were lost. I completely recommend this product to anyone looking to get their first set of accessories for formal wear so that one can be ready to attend an awesome black tie affair like I did last night. From what I've read, the black tie dress code is supposed to establish a harmonious equality and classy unity among men, and the simple look this set provides is traditionally the way to go.

Got these for $21.85 which was a very good price for these. Not sure i'll ever use the tie clip but the cuff links are simple but look nice, and the stud sets fit pretty well in my shirt. Couldn't be happier with it.Would I pay more for these, maybe $30, but I'd probably look for a bargain elsewhere

They seem to be as described. Returned them as the shirt I ordered came with studs.
