I have only made the bee and penguin. It’s a nice kit and the yarn is okay for us beginners.

Kit came with everything listed but the yarn is so hard to work with especially for a beginner. Bought this kit for my 8 year old son who has no experience at all with crocheting but wants to learn... I think I will replace the string with other more manageable strings for him other than that, the videos are great!

The media could not be loaded.  This is such a cute little kit!I used to crochet for years and years. I was a very experienced crocheter, so I'm not technically the beginner this kit is geared for. That said, it's been about 6 years since I crocheted, so I was very rusty. I felt like I was starting all over again. I think this kit was a really good way to ease myself back in.The kit comes with so much! You definitely get a lot of value out of this little box. You get instructions for 4 patterns and more than enough yarn. It also comes with the eyes, a hook, several stitch markers, 2 needles and a little glue stick.I would not necessarily say the tutorial instructions are perfect for a total beginner. You will need some extra videos or instructions to learn the basics. I had to go look up how to change colors because it had been so long, I couldn't remember the proper technique. For this reason, I wouldn't start with one that changes colors. The chick is probably the easiest to start with. For me, the little beginner instructions were a helpful reminder, but wouldn't teach anyone how to crochet at all.Besides the beginner "tutorial" part, the instructions for the patterns themselves work just fine. These are not super complicated patterns, so once you learn how to do the basics, you will have no trouble following the steps at all. I highly recommend this kit if you're new to crochet! It's so much fun and so easy. It doesn't take up a lot of space and you don't have to buy big skeins of yarn. You'll have a great time with it.

The yarn is very cheap the instructions are very poorly written. I’m still on my first on I will see how it turns out but I’m struggling.

This is a nice crochet set. You get everything that you need in order to create some pretty cute creations. There is yarn enough for four animals and you even get pieces that you can add to your creation in order to make it look finished. You can even watch videos to help you create some nice projects. You get a bunch of yard that you can use when you begin working.I am a beginner and there is a learning curve. If you keep at it you will be able to get finished. It will just take some time. As you learn more about crocheting you will be able to do more. This set allows you to work at your own pace and the videos make it all the easier.If you are looking for a fun hobby you might want to check this out. Once you become better at crocheting you will find that it is a fun hobby. It is therapeutic and does help you focus on the task at hand.

Do not buy this kit. They send you really cheap yarn, not the yarn used in the teaching video. The yarn frays, had to keep together, there was a not in the middle of the strand that I did not put there and couldn't undo, literally had to cut the yarn and start over. The video is too fast and not as detailed as it could be. Pay the extra money and buy a Wooble, you will be much happier.

I bought this kit since I've always wanted to learn to crochet! This kit is SO HARD, upon first opening the box I realized that the yarn wasn't very neatly organized. I then saw a small bag that seemed to have all the additional items needed, those were neatly packaged. There are also instruction cards for each project, since the cards seemed somehow both extremely complicated and oversimplified I turned my attention to the QR code that can be found on each instructional card. The code brings you to a YouTube video that has video and verbal instructions for the project. Yeah, I thought this would be helpful....it was NOT. The tutorial is so fast I had to keep rewinding and very little progress what made within the hour of trying to follow along.Basically is you have never crocheted a day in your life (like me) this kit is way too hard, however if you have a working knowledge or someone who does available to help you I'm sure you would manage much better than I did.

I recently got my hands on the Crochet Kit for Beginners, and it's safe to say I'm hooked! LOL. This adorable kit comes with everything anyone needs to dive into the world of yarn art.
