These are very nice quality bench dogs.. machining is very smooth and they fit nice into 3/4" dog holes and are easily removed.

They're fine. They fit well enough in the dog holes on my bench, which were drilled with a 3/4 forstner. Similar fit to my previous bench dogs, which were just 3/4 hardware-store dowel.

I recently made an MFT (Multi-Function Table) with bench dog holes. These are an excellent addition to add some much-needed color and versatility to the table.Oddly, I like that they're red. It makes me feel like I'm one of those Youtube woodworkers with all the Woodpecker tools. The color also makes them highly visible so I don't pace around my garage for 10 minutes looking for them.They're pretty sturdy and have held up nicely so far. They're all uniform in shape and design, which should be obvious, but I sadly can't say for that for some other bench dogs that I recently ordered. These fit as intended, and I expect them to be around in my garage for years (unless I end up misplacing them anyway, that is...)

Standard sizing helps these fit in my three different work surfaces which all use the same pre-drilled and self-drilled holes. Nice low profile for surface planing boards and, with a holdfast or clamp, cutting rebates for drawer bottoms. I use mostly hand tools, and vintage ones at that, so I rely on my bench surfaces being accommodating to a variety of efficient set ups. I use these to anchor jigs with a cam-type clamp set up at the other end. Perfecto. The finish is smooth and consistently machined. They might be a bit too slick in some use scenarios, but you could rough them up with the grit of your choice if need be. Recommend. These also fit well in my job-sit go bag so if I have to set up an impromptu bench, I can drill/bore necessary holes to fit these to make fine adjustments on site. Nice kit!
