I received mine quick. It was sent immediately, and shipped via USPS, so it usually means within 3 days. It arrived with no heating pad, but I guess that the 60 days live guaranty is as good as a heating pad. The plant appears to be alive. It is small within a small glass container the size of a small snow globe. The plant is set in grow medium so it stayed intact during transit. Hopefully, it will survive long enough for life outside the container. Oh, BTW for people deciding between the sundew and the venus flytrap, my research suggests that the sundew is lower maintenance outside the globe. For the sundew, all I need to do is to place it near a window. Update: It has been a month. The sundew has grown a little. No mold. Yeah, I like it. I will probably order other plants soon now that it is getting warmer. Another update: a white fuzz appeared after 44 days. I emailed the seller with a photo, and I have a replacement a week later. The replacement is a little leaky with some solution leaking from the container. I cannot see any crack on the container, and the plant inside looks fine. It is informative to compare the original plant with the replacement. The original is about 10x larger. So, it must have grown. I am facing the white fuzz of the original towards the window, hopefully the sunshine will slow its growth while I get the necessary soil, etc. to try to rescue it. BTW, outside the container, carnivorous plants are a little involved to maintain. They need special soil, and distill water. I am not hopeful with my skills to keep them alive outside the container. But, I will give it a try. Yet another update: It is now past day 60. After turning the mold part of the Terrarium towards the sunlight, the sunlight appears to have limited its growth. The white fuzz appears to have disappeared, replaced by a white patch. My observation is that this plant needs a lot of light. I believe that plants, mold and algae are in a constant battle when they are in a confined space. One will do well at the expense of others. So, let your terrarium get some sunlight.

So, my first plant didn't make it to me. The usual mailman swears he left it on my porch, but it was no where to be found. HOWEVER, this seller is fantastic, got back to me within a few hours, and shipped out a replacement the next day. This one arrived fine. I waited all day, using tracking and watching for the mailman. But it was delivered separately from my regular mail. So sadly, it sat outside in the northern KY cold for about 20 minutes. Lil thing doesnt seem affected, though. Yes, its a small plant, somewhere between nickel sized to quarter sized, but its worth remembering that they're supposed to stay in the dome without opening it for MONTHS. Then they get transplanted. It makes sense a larger, older, easier to see plant would be used for the product image. Given some time, im sure mine will match it in size. The first pic ive added is of the shipping box. Not an amazon box, but that makes it a touch less likely to be taken this time of year. The second is after i opened the shipping box, its a smaller box packed in. Carrying it inside, i didnt hear it moving around much, so this worked. The 3rd is the small box opened. The little dome terrarium is so snug in there that there wasnt even room for it to wiggle. Perfect for shipping glass! The fourth is after i took the dome out of the box and the tissue paper off. Its also plastic wrapped, probably to keep the dome from wiggling around on the base during shipping. The fifth pic is the plant. I clustered all the different items around it for a size compare. See, small. But it says its small. Size adds up right. The sixth is the view from the bottom, its well rooted in its gel, so it should be happy and grow great. The seventh is the plant itself, blurry from the condensation on the inside of the glass from the temperature change. The eight is a size compare to a quarter. Hard to see the quarter, but its there, the plant is just a touch smaller. The last pic is the best pic i could get of the plant. Its tiny, but its absolutely adorable, and I'll definitely buy from them again. I've already got my eye on a few different plants.

Cute & alive at first but it sadly & quickly, it succumbed to mold & death. I followed the instructions & it stilled died. I should have listened to my gut & opened it to repot it.

Very cute but very small. After reading reviews. I filled cup with distilled water. Removed them from jelled domes, Let them sit in distilled cup of wtr as they sat while I cleaned and dried domes and bases of domes very well with a paper towel. I swirled them in the distilled water a little and removed as much jell as possible. Washed domes(they are to cute to cast aside).and dried very well. Refilled one dome and another planter with a dome with fly trap soil and sargum moss.I planted smallest plant back into original dome. Using spray bottle sprayed sides of domes. Put them under timed lighting for at least eleven totwelve hours a day. They are thriving.I can see growth.

Absolutely precious! The sundew arrived safe and sound, looks very healthy! I'm so excited to add this to my carnivorous plant collection. This would be my second sundew, the first is now over three years old. Once roots form, she'll be planted next to her sister. Edit 10/15/23: It grew mold, however I saved it! I used sterilized eyebrow tweezers to carefully remove the plant from the growing medium, which seems to be a kind of agar, removed any moldy bits I saw, and carefully transfered it into a bigger sealed terrarium with peat moss. After that I was diligent to remove any mold that formed over the course of a few days. A week later, everything looks great! No mold came back, and the little plant seems more lively. You can try my method if your plant hasn't been taken over by mold yet, just be very careful about any developing roots, they're almost like fine hair, use only distilled water or reverse osmosis water when you clean or water it. Tap water can be too harsh.

Update 9/9/23: I haven't attempted to open this, followed the care instructions that came with it on the care card and did further research on the internet and my fb houseplant groups. It's now dying. So, know if you're getting this that it might only live 2 months. It was nowhere close to outgrowing the container either, in fact, I measured no growth from the time it arrived. I'll be sticking to my own home made tiny terrariums and will re-use this container for another plant. It arrived today carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and in a small heavy weight small cardboard box. There was enough packing material for the plant to remain static so it arrived unharmed. This is a cute tiny plant and would be perfect in the miniature forest terrarium setting that I'm in the process of building. It looks so healthy and exactly like a tiny Venus Flytrap. It is a live plant too! I'll be buying more tiny plants from this seller soon.

Pleasantly presented and healthy on arrival. But..be very careful to remove all the gel if repoting, i put this plant in the tank with my others and the gel burst out in mold. You cant see the full dramatics of this from the photo of the removed gel, but in a couple of days there was inch long white tendrils of mold fur spreading all over the place from the gel. This has pretty much killed the plant (attempting to revive it) and has put all the others at risk. Definately wouldnt buy this type of gel embedded plant again. Washing the gel off is near impossible and the roots are highly sensitive on these plants so playing around can also kill them. Not entirely happy. The instructions included say repotting is ok. This is not true with the included gel.

Aesthetically, it looks amazingly cute. But the poor plant is probably suffering. I showed my friend who loves plants and he said that carnivorous plants don't need a dome for humidity. He also added that the gel will probably kill the plant after a while. He advised me to rinse out the gel with distilled water and repot it with Sphagnum Peat Moss and add some Perlite. What I did was cut open a plastic water bottle I had laying around and a small pot I had laying around. I used the bottle as a dish so it can be constantly have distilled water, making the soil moist. Then put in the soil stuff inside the small pot and gently placed the plant on it. Whole thing took like 15 minutes cause I was trying not to harm the roots of the plant. Also, the rubbery part from the glass dome broke so I deducted a few stars.
