works great!
This is very easy to use. I use it to drain any remaining gas from my portablegenerator. And then I can use it to put the gas from the gas can into my vehicle!

Poor product and a waste of money
Piece of garbage! I purchased this pump in April of last year (2024). Initially this device worked quite well, but it failed to work after use of only five or six times during the course of one year to empty lawn mower and snow thrower fuel tanks. And that's after inserting fresh batteries. Very disappointing performance - at least it wasn't very expensive to begin with.

Works great
Very easy to use and I was surprised on how well and fast it worked. The discharge hose however, could be a little longer and of better quality.UPDATE: the hose became very brittle and cracked within a couple months, only using it 3-4 times. i had to buy a new hose to replace the original one.

This product Sucks! As advertised.
I was pleased to see how well this pump works. I tried it on a glass of water and it sucked the water up way faster than I expected. It should be great for the next time I need to pump some gas into my lawn tractor. It comes with a bunch of mesh sleeves that fit over the intake end of the pump. There are no instructions for how to use them, but it's pretty easy to figure out. I used a rubber band I got off some broccoli to hold the sleeve in place. There's also a screened cap for the impeller housing that can be snapped on the end after the non-screen cap is popped off.

Fantastic!
I got this to help do water changes for our aquarium and it does amazing. I hated dumping in water and freaking the fish out. With this pump the water just flows right into the tank without scaring them or without me blowing my back out from lifting the full buckets up into our 125 gallon tank. I use the D batteries and they last a good while!!!

Very handy
This pump is a game changer! Battery-powered, lightweight, and easy to use—perfect for gas, diesel, or water. Strong suction and no mess. Great for outdoors, emergencies, or farm work. Definitely worth it!

Works OK with some limitations
I bought this to empty end-of-year gas from a outboard motor external gas tank, the 2-1/2 gallon type.I wish it had a flexible tube extension for the inlet side as the wand is pretty bulky and cannot bend into the corner of the tank. So pumping from a bucket or something where you can get the end of the wand into the last of the liquid will work fine, but can't quite empty a portable gas tank. The outlet hose is pretty short, but that would be easy enough to make an extension for if you want. Also, they provide a screened cap that is supposed to go over the inlet side, but it looks like it is supposed to replace a piece that comes pre-installed but i could not find any way to get the preinstalled cap off to install the screen. Probably not an issue if whatever you are pumping doesn't have any debris in it.
