The media could not be loaded. I like these! Good size flame but don't last as long as advertised. I cook on various 1-2 person BBQ grills and these Eco starters meet my needs. I store in gallon ziploc bag to prevent drying out. Better performance than other cube style natural fire starters I've tried. Recommended.

Now this is a fire! Never have I had such a strong, vibrant fire! The charcoals were so hot that they were red on the edges - all of them - not one piece of charcoal was sitting there untouched. It was great! I will only be using these going forward. Excellent product.

These cubes were easy to light, and they work good and burn for a long time (at least as long as it took to get things lit). I've lit our charcoal grill twice and started a campfire with them so far, and they worked good every time. One was good enough to start the fire, but I've used 2 to start the grill. Next time I will try just one and see how that goes. These are slightly higher priced than other fire starting cubes, but they work, and the price is still much better than what you'll find at a store. No obnoxious smell which is a big plus over other options!! Good use for an otherwise composted material (rice straw), and according to the story behind it, it supports small Vietnamese farmers. I would buy them again.

I’ve been pouring some gas as the igniter on the piles of brush from leaves and tree debris a couple times a year to get it started burning because lightning a newspaper or whatever doesn’t keep it going. But it feels scary and makes an abrupt “boom”. These are MUCH better and I won’t ever need to do that again!!

They do get the job done. But may need more than 1 at a time. I use these to start my charcoals in my chimney. For many other "firestarter" that I use, most of the time, I only need 1 piece to start the whole chimney's worth of charcoal on fire. But with thse ECO FIRELIGHTERS, I need to end up using at least 2, if not 3, pieces to guarantee to get my fire going. So this dramatically reduces the value of this product. At first, the value seems to be good, if 1 piece get the job done, so a box can start 100 fires for me; but if I do have to double up or triple up each time, a box will only last me 33 to 50 fires, dramatically reduces the value.
