I'd been using Wen by Chaz Dean for about 20+ years now. It took me a few years to figure out how to properly use it in order to achieve the results "as seen on TV" and I highly recommended it to anyone I met! My friends and family didn't bite, though, because it was so expensive... $30-$40 for 16 oz. bottle, and one use required 12-16 pumps! But I paid the money because the results were worth it. Smooth, soft, beautiful hair! Then I had to spend the night at my brother's house and forgot to bring my Wen. Ended up using one of my niece's hair masks... This one! And oh my goodness... It was magic! I just used a little and my hair immediately felt soft, the comb went through my hair like butter, and it didn't react to the humidity (no frizz)! This hair mask was a dream come true and it cost 1/4 the price I'd been paying for the other brand! I highly, highly recommend this product. You won't be sorry.

I'm giving this 5 stars because it isn't the products fault that it nolonger fits my needs. I've been using this mask for over 2 years. I love the way it smells and it does a good job for surface level moisture. My hair is much longer now, and harder to manage. This isn't a penetrating mask. So if you have very long, thick, dry 2b/2c hair like I do, you'll need to switch it up and add something more moisturizing. The mask itself looks really good. Creamy and thick. It has a super rich texture, really good slip for detangling and for short-term or mild dryness it is nice. The packaging has changed since I started using it and I like this packaging much better than the last style. This stacks nicely in the shower or on the edge of the tub. The lid is easy to grip on to even when your hands are wet. I'm a petite handed gal and it isn't a struggle to open the jar. I will say if I wanted to wear my hair naturally curly it did sort of help to keep the frizz down. But again, its only surface level moisture. So it wasn't helpful for defining and rehydrating. Overall, this product is great. I loved using it. If I ever go shorter again or my needs change I'm repurchasing this product.

I like that it doesn't weigh my hair down or make it greasy, and it's easy to apply. After using it, I noticed that my hair is easier to detangle and looks shinier. The amount in the container lasts a long time because you don't need to use much product. Overall, I think it's a great hair mask for moisturizing, and I would buy it again. I especially recommend it for people with dry or damaged hair.
