I really like the design of this bookcase and the way my books are displayed. I do have one suggestion and that is I wished that they had 2 of the stems be a bit longer this way you could have some bigger books.It wasn't that hard to put together. If you have small, soft hands you will have a little trouble as I did with the screws. But other than that it wasn't difficult to follow the directions. The video they provide makes it look easy, but that's a man with manicured hands, not a woman LOL. At first, I was thinking there must be something wrong with the parts I got because I was I struggled to tighten the screws into place, but then I realized that was a man in the video so of course, it's going to be way easy for him to do. I would recommend this product to anyone. It's not real wood and that is the only drawback of this product. but at $49 it's Ok and the design is really nice.

Great little product for small spaces. Fits perfectly on top of a desk…holds many books with ease. I’d put together properly the shelf is super strong, even though it’s particle board.Just some advice…follow the directions carefully. Pictures are a bit confusing and hardware is not meant for repeated use.

I had high expectations for the product and it’s doing the job but not the most amazing quality. However, it was definitely cheap so you get what your paying for. I would t say the quality exceeds the price or vis versa. It was definitely time consuming to put together and will give your hand a workout but it’s very easy to understand the instructions. For how much weight you put on them it’s definitely not going to hold up for the test of time but it’s doing the job for now. I do wish the slots where larger to fit bigger books like hard covers of a series.

I love this ! It’s such a cute design and it holds lots of books. I was thinking it might not be good enough for all the children’s books my son has , and the fact that some of them are pretty large in diameter. But I was able to fit them all , even the bigger ones with no problem. It’s secured well to the wall also ! We’re using it on carpet and still no worries of sturdiness being an issue. It took the whole movie of ‘Twister’ for me to put it together but I’m not the most handy person when it comes to these things. If I can do it , anyone can! Thank you!!

So, I'm sure there's a reason these kind of things always come with fasteners that require an allen key, instead of regular screws. I would imagine it's because they can just put an allen key in the box so anyone without a drill or screw driver can still put it together. But my goodness would I love if some of these things had regular screws. That being said, I have a drill with an attachment that fits allen keys, which I thought was a great way to save time and make this easier. Well, that turned out to be a stupid idea. Just don't do it, you will strip it, even with the torque low. Which creates a situation that's super fun to resolve. Outside of my glaring mistake that is 100% on me, assembly wasnt too bad. You need to pay close attention to which way the holes are counter sunk, and I had 1 hole that was pre drilled slightly off. Easy to fix if you have a drill available to you. Otherwise the best thing you can do is not fully tighten anything until the pieces are in place. Outside of my self-created difficulties it was much the same to put together as other pieces of furniture I've ordered online. Not too sturdy on its own, but with heavy books on the bottom and the top anchored to the wall it's stable. Looks really nice once it's together, and holds a good amount of books.

This is a small size book rack but it does the job. Looks good, too. Easy to use

UPDATE -- I should have mentioned that I have moderate arthritic fingers. in response to my original complaint, seller provided a much better Allen Wrench Key, which was very easy to use.The assembled bookcase looks great. I placed it next to my recliner chair, so I have quick and easy access to the books. However, I take off one star because I found it difficult to assemble. I take off another star because customer service was poor. The included Allen Wrench Key is only 2-1/4” long — too short for me to get the necessary leverage to tighten in the screws. That is, without really hurting my fingers. I asked customer service for the size of the Allen Wrench Key. I suggested 1/8”. I was told “You need to use Allen wrench-metric and imperial to help to set up the bookshelf.” I asked again and was offered a replacement Allen Wrench Key. It finally dawned on me to go to a local hardware store with one of the screws to get the size. I bought a tool with 8 different size Allen Wrench Keys. It was kind of like a Swiss Army knife for Allen Wrench Keys. In any case, that tool has a comfortable handle and is 5” long. It was then straightforward and painless to assemble the bookcase.

This took a long time to assemble but was worth it. Love how it looks storing my books and makes easy to separate my to read pile vs my favorites!
