Long live McDonalds, eh.I have picked up some very SIMPLE recipes that I can make but for the most part, when I grillchicken, I have to call and warn the fire department.One of my recepes involved the ingredients and a can of cream of something or other soup added for thespices, throw in the oven for an hour and Woola, Dinner is served, just like grandma used to make, onlyeasier.I tried to reinvent, (mad scientist review) how I cooked it when I became the owner of a slow cooker.Worked well but had some extra crispy issues with anything on the bottom of the cooker.I had recently tried to cook in a pan on the stove, low flame as a slow cooker but had the same issue.The; mount of liquid made no difference. This had me looking for a screen unit to raise the food fromthe bottom of the pan.I found this 3 piece stainless steam cooker. From what I saw it was perfect. The reviews were notexactly along the lines of what I needed but they were close enough. I bought one.Comes packaged well, in manufacturer packaging. Ran through the dishwasher and got ready forthe great scientific experiment. Can food be cooked stove top without burning.My assistants were Kristi and Ruby, who are my dogs that watch every move I make and If some of thefood tries to escape, it is quickly snapped up by the girls.I filled the pot with the ingredients, added the cream of something or other, put 2 cups of water in the bottom, put on low heat and watched.The room filled with the aroma of food cooking, steam was slowly escaping through the top lid. I eventurned down the heat source to control the steam a bit.The moment of truth was when Doctor food, Hee hee heee, opened the lid and saw what was a beautifully cooked meal. the potatoes were perfect, nothing was burned, the meat was fully cookedand tasty.This pan passed the torture test with flying colors.It cleaned up very easily, the dishwasher did the rest and we were ready for our next scientific experimental extravaganza.The plastic handles don't seem to get hot, are big enough to feel comfortable when you grab them.I had no problems at all using this cook wear.I would recommend absolutely.I do not know the seller and did not receive any money or product for my random review210706 1940

I looked at many steamers before settling on this one for steaming couscous and vegetables. This is a good quality steamer with a snug fit for the steamer piece. The holes in the steamer are not too large so holds couscous well. I like the glass lid. Overall well made, would recommend.

I searched the whole Amazon before ordering this cookware set. The delivery was terrible, everything I ordered on here usually is delivered to my front door always, but this big and heavy box of cookware set was not. We had to drive to the post office to pick it up ourselves the next day after it updated it’s already delivered..Anyways, let’s talk about the set itself. When it first arrived, I was very excited and happy to open the box and see everything so well wrapped and packed. But while unwrapping them all and laying them out on my carpet, I started to notice all the scratches and black dents flaws (see pics). I got very disappointed because this is our first stainless steel cookware set to replace our old nonstick set, I was hoping them to be perfect, considering stainless steel set is usually 3-4 times the price of the nonsticks. So I contacted the seller, they agreed to give me partial refund to make up the flaws. I prefer a perfect set than having a set cheaper but with flaws ofc, but I really don’t wanna have to go through the trouble of sending the whole big and heavy box back, so I accepted it and kept them.As to the set’s function features, they heat mostly evenly, the outside ring of the pan is less hot than the middle when heated, but not too big difference. I’d say compared with the nonsticks, this set heat up a bit slower, but they work well as a cookware set. The cleaning is ok, after cleaning, the inner bottom tend to have these rainbow/white marks, and around the screws with white marks as well, and the outer bottom starting to get these rusty looking dots and marks after couple uses which I don’t know whether it’s normal (since I never owned stainless steel cookware set before), does the bottom of stainless steel cookware set tend show rusts after several uses and just need to be polished every once awhile? After I used the steam pot 1 time, the inner bottom of it showed lots of white spots which I don’t understand why either, and I poured out the hot water and washed it right, they just stay there. The weight of the pots and pans are pretty heavy compared with nonsticks, I wouldn’t recommend these to elders who have arthritis for sure, after finished cooking I’d lift the pan or pot to pour the cooked food into plates or bowls, every time it hurts my wrist holding them in the air, sometimes id ask my husband to hold the other end of the handle for me or the whole thing while I stir the food into plates or bowls.I do love that the lids are very easy to clean since they don’t have the inner gaps like the glass ones that make it impossible to clean. And the bottom of the set don’t doesn’t have indent lines, which I love too because lots of other stainless steel set I saw have inner dent line around which makes it look ugly and keeps dirty stuff in making it hard to clean. The screws are rounded flat faced which is great for cleaning and not keeping dirty stuff in the regular screw dents. And each pot and pan have measurements on the inner wall, which is great for cooking as you all already know.Overall, it’s a love and hate feeling about this set. I don’t wanna keep using our old nonstick set either since it’s already all scratched up and may have been giving out toxic chemicals to our food, and to avoid the trouble sending them back, I kept them. Maybe the nonsatisfying things I pointed out above are normal for stainless steel cookware sets, just that I’m not familiar with them? Or maybe I’m just unlucky received a defected set? I recently ordered some barkeepers friend, I’ll start polishing them once awhile see whether it helps with the rainbow and white marks and the rusty looking spots.

I am very happy that i chose this steamer because its works great, very easy to clean and good quality. For me quality is very important because i steam food for my baby so i want to make healthy food and when i was checking for a steamer i saw some plastic automatic steamer and the idea was good but my worry was i don't know what quality of plastic is that and plastic is made by chemicals that's what i think and how long the quality will be good so i chose not to buy plastc one but about still i believe that it will last very long if you maintain right way and specific this one you will love it for sure. The price is really good for the quality. 😀 the one more important part i liked about this the service is so good i got my product very next day in the morning which surprised me i didn't have to wait at all and pacaging was good i think every saler should have this amazing service that customer can get the benefit and feel happy. I don't think i have anything to say negetive but good. Thank you so much for this amazing product.
