Q: What seeds the random number generator?

Wow! great question! Thank you. Regrettably, I can't get into the details of the code except that we use the RandomNumber function in the ATtiny microprocessor in the system. I understand that it is hard to get truly random numbers from a computer, but with both the ON and OFF time being random, as well as the direction of motion being random, overall it is as random as you can get from a machine. Hope this helps.

Q: Will this work with a wired mouse?

I don't think so. There isn't a slot on the tray for the wire to lay and the mouse needs to fit inside the tray to work. It works great for a wirelss mouse. Make sure you check the size of the tray because I just got a new mouse and it's too big to fit this tray. I'll need to buy a bigger one. Hope this helps.

Q: will my company network sense this is plugged in to my computer?

No. The USB plug has only two wires for the 5V output from the computer. It is identical to a USB cable used only for charging. To the computer, the USB cable looks like any passive accessory, like a light bulb or battery charger.

De momento todo muy bien , en ocasiones no se mueve el puntero(pero el mouse si), al siguiente movimiento se mueve el puntero (entiendo que tiene que chocar o en si moverse el mouse para que pase esto) . Ha funcionado muy bien , lo he usado muy poco, espero me dure mucho . Fácil de usar

I can hide Friday morning donut runs!

The media could not be loaded. I'm way too excited about this thing. Sitting here watching it move the mouse around makes me laugh way more than it should. But the mover works well and keeps showing me available on MS TeamsMy Gen 4 model seems to have corrected some of the complaints I read about the Gen 3, namely the- there is now a power switch- the backing is green, not red.The Gen 4 also comes with a USB plug, not a 115V plug.My only gripe is I wish the pad was bigger. It is definitely only for wireless mice, but larger ergonomic wireless mice also likely won't fit.
