Huge improvement
I taped off the area and added two thin coats before leaving to cure for 48 hours. As you can see the colour match is not great but it's a huge improvement on the black chips. Still need to sand it down but happy with this as a DIY fix!

Rein in your expectations
On the plus side, the product was easy to use and colour match (I used one of the white versions) was reasonable. I used this product on fine crack in floor tiles and chips in bathroom and kitchen sinks. Although it is presented as a "glaze" the overall finish is plastic-like - so the feel is different to the porcelain or tile surface that I used it on. On damage which is not deep (our tiles had cracks but these were fine cracks), when sanding back the dried and cured product, the entire application came off, so its adhesion is not suitable for these areas. If you have a deep crack on a flat (horizontal) surface, then the product does a reasonable job, for a reasonable price. Please note we also found our product also has a strong, lasting vanilla-gone-off scent after drying.

Very good
Brilliant product. Used to repair a shower tray and can hardly spot the repair. Seems durable as shower one constant use by 4 people for over a month.

Slow to harden
After a successful experience with Porc-a- Fix in repairing a number of chips in our white kitchen floor tiles in October 2014, when two more small chips appeared recently elsewhere in the same floor I had no hesitation in purchasing a second pot of the product in May this year (2016). My order arrived promptly and I treated the chipped areas. Returning to the repaired areas a day or two later in order to smooth them to the adjoining surface, the sand paper kept snagging on the Porc-a-Fix repair. It hadn't set hard and could be scraped off with a finger nail. I again protected the repaired areas for several days but the material had still not hardened and now a month later it can still be scraped off.

Works very well
I chipped my sink and this really worked well but it’s not a quick fix. It requires multiple layers and you need to wait 12 hours in between each layer to allow drying and sanding . It took four days to fix the repair but I was really pleased with the results. Chip is now barely visible and has not degraded in 4 weeks.

Does its job
This product was easy to use. I thought the brush would be too large to do a good job but it wasn't at all. Colour didn't perfectly match my basin but I didn't think it would. Filled in the chip well and weeks on, still looks fine.

Invisble mending.
This repair porcelain is really good, I have repaired my wash hand basin in the bathroom because of a few chips and you cannot even see them now. It does need a few coatings and sanding down in between but it comes up ' as new.' Patience is the virtue on this task but it's worth the while, I'd say.
