LicBund 10747 25010 Pool Plunger Valve Assembly Replacement for Above Ground Pool Pump 25080RP (1pcs)

Works great on my intex pool way better than the one that came with it .

The bad: As another reviewer noted, the threads on the large female coupler that attaches to the male threads of the jet/nozzle through the wall of the pool fail to tighten completely. I used teflon tape to create a tighter fit but still, you can only get the fitting just snug enough to seal, which does not feel comfortable enough. Any additional tightening beyond that and the threads slip and pop off and it becomes very loose again and you have to try again without over-tightening g it. I’m not totally comfortable leaving this as is, particularly when we are away from home for a few days. I will probably try to find another similar purge valve from another manufacturer that still opens 100% and has a proper thread connection. Maybe I got a bad one? The good: This particular part opens 100%, meaning that when the valve is in the open position, the plunger is completely clear of the opening, unlike some others where the plunger partially obstructs the flow of water even when fully opened. This part worked on my Bestway pool and intex brand 1.5" plumbing.

Worked great, I did not have to drain pool just quickly swapped with the leaking valve. Functioned as expected, reasonably priced.

Makes pool cleaning process easy!

I would have been very pleased with the product, but apparently it’s defective since after it’s screwed on the pool hose so far it’s tight then loosens and pops off.
