I am very happy with my purchase of this rug. It seems very well made and is quite colorful and ornate. It arrived rolled up, of course, and had to be flattened out. I have some 2x4 pieces of lumber that are longer than the width of the rug. I placed the rug onto the floor and set the 2x4s across the rug, flush with both ends. I then set some weights atop the 2x4s at both ends and the middle and let it stay that way for a week. When I removed the 2x4s, the rug was lying flat. As for weights, you can use anything heavy that will stay atop the lumber. The heavier the better. I cannot comment on the rug's durability, but it certainly appears well made and, therefore, should hold up just fine. At the time I purchased the rug, I also purchased some Gorilla brand Gorilla Grip Rug Gripper Pads, as these have worked extremely well for me in the past (on hardwood flooring). Because the rug is lying so flat right now, I may not have to use them. If I do, it's okay because I know they work as advertised. I know that a small minority of folks who have purchased this rug have stated in their reviews that it had a strange odor about it. Mine smells like new carpeting and is of no concern. I also like the fact that the rug was made in Turkey, and not China. I am totally pleased with my purchase and would buy it again.

I bought the 7' rug (it's actually closer to 6'11). Beautiful rug, soft with vibrant colors, exactly as pictured. Really pulls the room together.

This rug went beyond my expectations! I was concerned about it flattening out but the paperwork said to wait a day or two. I did and it's been flat since and very comfortable to walk on. The photos don't do it justice. Thank you!

The designs and colors of this runner are vivid and very pretty that it compliments my bathroom very well. The rug is pretty thick but not too thick and it is soft under my feet without any smell when unwrapping. I used this in my bathroom for the double sink and also in front of the walk in shower. Con: The back of the rug is not slip resistance so I had to get a piece of rug tape to help it keep in place. It would be great if it came in a non slip back like other rugs runner for the length that I needed. Gave 4 stars because the lengths are off by an inch on both rug runners and the ends curl up no matter what I do.

I love it, Looks like Persian rugs we have anyone, Not the handmade one, But still acceptable one, The qualities, I could not find something with the same quality with three times of this price. Definitely if you like the color buy it.

My rug arrived yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price. It came rolled with only a few bumps at the edges. I was concerned due to some reviews, but with some heavy pots on perimeter overnight, the rug flattened. The colors were true to the photos and fit my decor perfectly. So far, no complaints…Update: Have to change my review! After initially being pleased, I noticed a terrible stench coming from the rug. It smelled chemical, like a gasoline spill or something unidentifiable. We couldn’t live with that awful smell and saw stories on-line that it might dissipate in time…NOT! I emailed Saffieh rugs and they sent back a list of things to try to stop the odor. None worked, but by now it was too late to return the rung. Obviously the company has had this problem many times because of the long canned answer! Read on-line about new rugs and smells. I would never buy any rug on-line now. Have to eat the entire purchase price and throw the rug away.

I ordered two of these runners toreplace ones that I had for almost 18 years that were the same style but red & black.These did not disappoint! They are well made and after a short time layed flat and don't move with a hard floor pad underneath.I am expecting to have these for a long time also.

The rug is well made and the colors are vibrant. I took away 2 stars because the description on the size is misleading. The rug is 7ft 7 inches, not 8ft.
