This is worth a shot, literally. My 14 yr old son had years of built up needle anxiety and used the shot blocker to successfully get his covid vaccines and later a flu shot. We tried everything you can imagine - bribes, anxiety medication, therapy, exposure therapy, conscious sedation - and no vaccine. We gave it a few months and he asked for a theme park ticket and used his shot blocker to get his vaccine accompanied by his therapist at the local pharmacy. No other medication used. Months later, it was time for a flu shot, anxiety stayed low and on the way out the door to the pharmacy, he asked if I had his shot blocker! I’d say he felt this REALLY helped. I hope it works for you or your kids just as well!

I FULLY ENDORSE THIS PRODUCT!!! I have severe needle terror stemming from childhood trauma, and these things made it so I didn't feel ANYTHING when getting my lab draw today. I repeat: DIDN'T. FEEL. A. DAMN. THING. I'm so ecstatic right now! :D

Been using this on my patients and they seem to experience and report less pain associated with the injections. Would highly recommend on patients that can sit still. Couldn’t imagine using this on a squirming child though. I could picture missing my target and hitting my hand or fingers.

These devices worked amazingly well at providing tactile distraction to allow a more painless injection.

Great thought/invention but for the several patients I tired it on it did not seem to work or make any type of difference. It was just another thing for me to try to hold in place while giving the injection. I think ethyl spray works better.
