Heidi Caillier: Memories of Home: Interiors

I’m a fan of Heidi’s interiors from Instagram and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing her rooms on paper. I find her aesthetic so soothing yet stimulating—combining patterns, unexpected colors, masculine and feminine design elements, all in ways that feel comforting, cocooning, but never boring, . Her rooms have such a sense of place, of specificity. My only complaint/request for book #2 is that I would have loved some sort of distillation of her design genius in words to aid my attempts to homebrew her magic in my own space!

This is a wonderful book full of color and unique decor ideas.

If you follow Heidi on Instagram, you'll love this book. Not a lot of rooms I haven't seen before, but I really enjoyed looking at them in high quality photos. It's fun to put on reading glasses and look at details. Going in my "design library" for sure

Every time I go back to this book I find something new and inspiring to appreciate. The designer creates rooms that are cozy, yet refined at the same time. A standout book - highly recommend!

The book is well designed but I felt that the designer repeated the rooms too many times and most of the paint and design was all done in Green? At least 1/3 of the book I would say. I wanted more for the $50
