There are no reviews while writing this review so I felt like one was necessary. Overall, this is an incredibly amazing bike that fulfills all my personal commuting needs. The package arrived much faster than expected, and the interior packaging was well protected with no shipping damages. Before purchasing this bike, I had the option to buy a full sized Trek carbon bike or a Brompton steel folding bicycle, each having qualities that were mutually exclusive. This Kabon bike, however, was able to satisfy both requirements without compromise, by being both very lightweight and compact in form factor. It can easily be picked up with one hand and can be folded within seconds with little practice. It fits perfectly inside a car trunk with plenty of room to spare, as well as being tucked away in a cabinet space inside my semi truck, as seen in photos. The entire build quality of the bike is excellent, with all components feeling sturdy. There are many well designed adjustable points that can easily be fine tuned. In terms of riding performance, it is absolutely impressive, feeling very agile and nimble and accelerating quickly due to its little weight. The Schwalbe tires give the bike a low rolling resistance and allow me to coast for considerable distances. The hydraulic disk brakes are the best performance I’ve seen on a bicycle and can stop immediately. I can only assume the performance is fairly close to a full sized carbon bicycle, which Kabon also sells (and I may consider buying in the future). The only nit-picks I could say are: The shifting mechanism did require adjustment as it was skipping gears out of the box, but this was a minimal problem and an easy fix. Secondly, the seat seemed a bit uncomfortable, but this could be simply me being a bigger person and personally requiring a bigger seat. I did upgrade to a larger seat as seen in the photos, as this bike is compatible with any double rail seat system seat. Overall, this is an excellent choice for a sporty commuter bike that can do it all, and I’m overall very happy with this bike.
