1/2" X 141" Lawn Mower Drive Belt, John Deere D140 D150 D160 L120 L130 145 155 Mower Drive Belt GX21833 GX20571, John Deere OEM Replacement Deck Belt

Absolutely NOT an OEM for GX21833 belt!!!I had reservations when I read this company's very noncommittal description about which mowers this might or might not fit. I should have listened to myself, but I fell for the low price. Bad move. Installed and triple checked. It seemed to go on a little too easily (possibly too long or too flexible) so I was ready to shut the mower down quickly. Sure enough, immediately upon starting the mower, it vibrated violently, flew off and wedged itself between the tensioner pulley and its metal retaining strip. I shut the mower off within 2 seconds of start. The belt had to be cut to remove it. I inspected the rest of the belt. You would not believe how chewed up this cheap piece of trash was at various spots all around the belt. I guess I'll have to go with a more expensive Stens or Deere belt. Btw, I mow several acres. My old belt lasted over one year and held together for 5 more mows after I noticed it had developed a cut completely through to the backing. John Deere LA130 spec belt is GX21833. If you have this mower, don't think about trying this belt.

Did not last one trip around the yard before belt came off pulley. On inspection the belt had started to shred apart in 2 different places causing it to twist. Unable to put back on and continue to mow. Had to wait a week for arrival of belt and now need another belt so my grass is going to be a foot tall before it gets mowed!! Did not work for me.

This lasted only a month compared to John Deere belts which usually last me a year.
