Great food. Tried both the high protein and sensitive stomach. My cats love the small kibble size of the sensitive stomach one and they tear it up even my picky eater. There has been no throwing up since getting this food which was a weekly. One of my cats had eye issues forever and this is the first food that cleared it up

I have fed this cat food to my two Maine Coon cats for two years, now. It was recommended to us by the breeder we purchased our cats from as she also feeds it to all of her cats as well. It has high quality protein, ingredients, and is grain free. We mix it with two other cat foods just as the breeder recommended and our cats love to eat it. Maine Coons being a larger breed of cat are known to inhale their food, so we were told to mix this smaller Solid Gold cat food with Royal Canin Maine Coon Crunchies and Life's Abundance All Stages Cat food. Our cats are very healthy, active, have beautiful coats, their gums are healthy, and have no digestive issues while eating this. This cat food kibble is very small and if I feed my Maine Coons only this by itself they will gobble it up whole instead of chewing as they should, which is why we mix it with other cat kibble. It helps them slow down while eating, so they don't throw it up. Our veterinarian also said this was a good cat food to have our cats on, so I will continue to feed this to my cats as long as it is made.

Day 1 - cats cleared their plates and licked them clean! Will update as time goes on but so far it’s a win. Literally thought our cats were sick. Guess they didn’t like their old food!

Great food but. expensive

This dry cat food can be fed to adult cats and kittens. I have been feeding my 4-year old cat this food since she was 8 weeks old. My 3-year cat has been eating this since he was 10 weeks old. If you are feeding both cats and kittens, this food is appropriate for all stages of a cat's life. I recently switched to the Lamb variety. After reading the ingredients, the Lamb formula is better than the chicken. The pieces are small in both the chicken and lamb variety.

I've worked in a few animal health care locations promoting brands such as science diet and have found that yes they are good and affordable but they seemed like an average food brand. In researched cat nutrition and a few brands I came across solid gold which all in all looked like it's a amazing source of nutrients and it has been. My cats energy levels have increased he plays all the time, his coat is shiny and beautiful very silky, his teeth are clean, his breath doesn't smell terrible, and all in all he is in great health. The only thing I'd change is going on the diet version of this food because he's a bit of an overeater! My cats an American short-hair mixed with other breeds not to my knowledge. He's very happy with his food and I plan to try the wet foods and powders soon. A 12lb bag of this food feeding 1/2 a cup a day gives me about a month and a half to two months of product. Although it can be expensive as a single cat owner it is cost effective for me aswell as benefiting my cats health.

My 4 cats love this food, especially my Himalayan. She eats it for treats! Her coat is thick and beautiful since I began using it. High five from my 4 cats. Highly recommend.
