17-19' version covers my 18' bass boat, engine, and trolling motor!!!!
This is a review for the 17-19 foot version. I had purchased it for my 16' jon boat, and it covered it and the 15hp motor one one end and all the way over the winch on the other, which is what I wanted. Well...I just bought an older 18' Arias bass boat with a Johnson 150, and a trolling motor on the front, and guess what, it covered the engine all the way to the front over the trolling motor! Using the front deck prop seat, the one windshield and the motor all create a cover that has no dips in it and should repel water perfectly. The attached straps go very nicely under the boat with trimming, and it all fits like a glove! I will update this after a while to let you know how it stands up to the weather, but so far I am impressed. I am now going to order another for my jon boat!!UPDATE: it is now December 30, 2019, and both of the covers have pretty much worn out. The black seams have deteriorated from the sun and weather, and seem to be a place where water can get through to the inside. I have multiple tears in both, many of which I repaired, but realistically both are shot. I have replaced one, and am looking to replace the other. They were good covers while they lasted, but I had hoped for a bit longer life from these.

AA size is perfect for Dighy Sailboats
Using this for a Sunfish day sailer (13 foot) and it works perfectly. The elastic lower seam should snug tight around any of the dighy sailboats like the Laser, Sunfish, or Optimist. It is not the thickest cover (150D), but that's not always the measure of quality. I tend to look at this like a pair of shoes -- calculate the cost per wear. I've tried more expensive covers and I seem to get no more than one season in the harsh Cape Cod winter, regardless of purchase price. Therefore, why not go for the bargain? The cover comes with quick release webbing straps to hold it tight. I've found these are too small for the entire circumference of the sunfish. I use 2 on the bow and stern. The rest I guess are made to hold the elastic straps of a v-hull to the trailer, but I have no use for them. The elastic gathering seems enough to hold tight even when transporting on the highway. I use bungee netting over top for extra security. The cover is just large enough to cinch around the Sunfish using the splash guard to create a trampoline over the cockpit. That's my primary concern -- make sure the inside is tight and dry. I would imagine the reflective surface is probably good for shedding UV, but I am far enough north that this is of little concern except during summer.

Did not last 3 Months, material deteriorated in the sun, torn material everywhere
WARNING do not buy this cover if your boat is is outside in sunlight. The material is waterproof, but thin and quickly deteriorated in the sun. I had the cover on my boat for no longer than 3 months and it tore to shreds, totally unusable, a waste of money. This is by far the worst item I ever purchased thru Amazon. What a waste of money and my time, no to mention my boat is now unprotected till I order another cover. This cover at best could only function as a dust cover.

I was a little concerned about the size but the ...
I was a little concerned about the size but the sizing description was accurate and it fits my boat as expected. The pictures do not show that there are also clips at the front of the cover and two at the back of the cover and three shorter straps to secure the front to the tongue of the trailer and the back to either the trailer or the bottom of the motor. I secured the back to the back of the bunk boards. It took me about 20 minutes to install the first time at which time I drove almost 200 miles topping out at roughly 75 mph and had no issues with the cover ripping or coming loose.

Seems decent for the price.
Got me through my first year and so far so good. Standing water does leak through. Showing some fading from the sun. I bought it large to help cover further down the sides and cover the motor. Was a good idea, but it still doesn't protect the sides from the sun as much as I had hoped. east to get on and off. I am happy so far and would purchase again.

Nice cover
Fit the 14 ft boat I needed to cover. Haven’t used in winter yet but hold up well so far for the summer/ windy weather.Edit October 2019: still using cover and has lasted throughout the winter.

Fits my 13' whaler sport perfectly
I got the 14-15' size and it fits my 13' whaler sport, including covering the engine - perfect for winter storage, can reuse, and cheaper than shrink wrap.

Great Value
The reason I gave this product five stars is because of the quality compared to the cost. I am sure there are better covers on the market, but you would be hard pressed to find a better one for this price. The fabric is surprisingly heavy weight, it fits my 12' v hull fishing boat well and was easy to tie down thanks to the generous length of strapping. At this point, I have no plans for trailering with the cover in place, but would not hesitate to do so. You will most likely need a support or two to insure that the rain drains off rather than puddles. I bought the cover to keep leaves and sticks out of my boat and again, I am very pleased with my purchase.

So far so good, however.....
Okay, I will admit I bought it more on price than anything else, I didn't want a cheap cover, but I was unwilling to miss my rent payment for one either. Seems a pretty decent cover, straps are in all the right places, easy to pull over the boat, doesn't sag too much under its own weight. My only complaint is the fitting. I have a 15ft boat with a windshield so I ordered a cover that was said to fit a 16ft boat. All the images showed a boat with windshield and motor being covered, so I figured good to go. Well, it doesn't exactly fit the windshield, it sits up on the side about half way up. If I didn't have a windshield, I'm sure the cover would have fit perfectly, but because I do, I can't say really like it. I don't hate it, but I'm not really liking it either.A note on water proof. I live in southern Alberta, and we do get snow then it warms up and melts, well we got hit with a major snowfall, and it warmed up only a couple days later and melted all the snow before I could brush it off the boat. Long story short, I ended up with a large pool of water in the center of the boat, which did not leak through the cover, not rip the seams, so kudos on that point.

Typical middle of the road boat cover
Cost effective, get two years out of it...… will fail during the winter winds in the 3rd year if you think you can mild another year out of it. I place a large cargo bungie net over the cover during the off season to prevent the wind from flapping the cover to death. It rally helps and gets me the 2 year life span. It is the UV that is the killer. Pad any sharp corners on your boat or use iron on denim knee patches to increase abrasion protection where applicable (corners of the windshield). I have accepted the two year life span and roll with it. Good while is lasts.

NOT trailerable
product describes as "Heavy Duty" &"Made of Durable Canvas Fabric " nope it is not but a light polyester blend.. I did not expect it to be at this price. But it will keep rain, snow , leaves and bird crap and prying eyes off. Which is the main reason for my purchase. It fit the 14' aluminum fishing boat (no window console) well enough and I would suggest using pool noodles on front and corners for long term storage outdoors as the wind will most likely rub and wear the material eventually. I would actually purchase again if need be since it is a nice price for what I want it for.

Installation is the key TAKE YOUR TIME !
I ordered after measuring and taking the advice from the manufacturer to order the “next size up” and when cover arrived it was easily installed on my 18.5’ I/O with just the right amount of cover for my swim platform and out drive to be covered. I was careful when installing the cover and made sure as recommended to cover the sharp edges with pool noodles or pieces of carpet to protect the cover. Straps adjust from one side only and are detachable from the cover very nice option!!I do not plan on travelling with this cover as I believe unless you spend a ton more money on a snug fitting custom cover you’ll forever be having ballooning and ultimately damage which would be expected. We are very pleased with the arrival time, and the price to quality level of this cover. We recommend it for someone storing there investment outside, we live in Ontario near Lake Ontario and weather patterns here are rain, freezing rain, wet snow and blowing snow for 4 + monthes of the year!!
