20mm 3/4" White 50 Metres Craft Dressmaking Sewing

I used this for home made bunting. It is bright white not vintage/cream. It is quite thin but this made it easier to fold and sew. I folded it in half and ironed it which was enough to keep it’s shape for machining. I attached single thickness 6” denim flags made from old jeans and machined the full length of the tape using a close zig zag. I found it very strong, the bunting was strung between first floor windows for a week in all weathers and was no worse for it, dried and put away for next time. I would definitely recommend it.

I wanted this tape for some bunting I was doing and I was not disappointed. It came very quickly and it was just perfect. as soon I saw it knew I would be ordering some more pretty soon. Ist class service and Ist class tape well done.

When this arrived it looked good however it's not a herringbone webbing but more a box type pattern and the edges have started fraying. Good thing I only want it to make fly screens with to help hem a mesh edge. UPDATE 20th June 2020 So I have updated my star rating from 2** to 4**** stars as I have now made copious amounts of fabric fly screens for my house (started in the last heatwave in May and ready for the predicted summer one). This has been ideal in creating an edging for the tulle type fabric netting that I was using. The fly screens are attached to the window frame via velcro and peeled back and forth to open and close the window. The actual kit I got just had velcro and fabric which I could see not lasting so I wanted a more substantial edging and thought bias tape would do the trick and a decent base to attach the sew on looped velcro side. This bias tape has been brilliant for this and now I have a decent secure boarder to encase the fabric for ease of opening and closing. I'm really impressed!

The tape arrived promptly in excellent condition. As it was so reasonably priced I was prepared for it to be rather thin. Not at all. It was sturdy Herringbone patterned tape and was exactly what I wanted. Very pleased with it and will buy more when needed.

Bought this tape from first supplier (SkyRocketDeals) and received good quality tape which had a heringbone pattern to it. Needed more for bunting so reordered another one. Unfortunately I didn't realise that when you use the reorder button on 'My Orders' Amazon doesn't automatically reorder from the same supplier. I only realised it had come from a different supplier (Bombay Collection) when I opened the second tape to find it was completely different. Poor quality, cross hatched design and creased. would have returned it but needed it straight away so had to make do. As I got near the end of roll was disappointed to find that it had been cut so in effect I had got two pieces of tape. Not what I would expect and would not buy from this supplier again. Product despatched within 24 hours but took 8 days to arrive. Think Royal Mail sorting offices are overwhelmed at present. Closely woven tape which is what I wanted

This arrived in the time frame given and in perfect condition. I ordered this to use for making bunting. It was thick enough at 3/4" to fold over and worked wonderfully for bunting. It is woven and a heavier cotton tape than some others.
